I came back to my dorm, to find a small package. It had a bar of chocolate, and few smaller candy inside it; a note attached.
To make up for the failed date of yesterday :)
- T.WI smiled, and kept them in my drawer, and changed out of uniform into a pair of blue jeans, and brown full sleeve shirt which had loose sleeves. I went downstairs to the common room, and laid down my books and parchment, so that I could get as much work done as possible before my detention.
I looked at the clock 2 hours later, and it was time. So I hesitantly got out the common room. I went to Umbridge's office, and pushed open the door. There in a chair, sat a Slytherin. His grey eyes scanned the words that he was reading. I closed the door behind me, and his eyes left the book.
"Oh. It's you." he said unenthusiastically. "It's not like I love being here too? So what's my detention?" I asked.
"Professor kept some folders over there. You have to arrange them my date, and alphabetical order, without magic."
"Shouldn't be that hard." I said, and turned around. There were about 20 thick box files. "Have fun!" said Malfoy, and got back to his reading.
The files consisted of student records and stuff. It was boring, but I had to get it done. In about 2 hours, I had completed it; mostly because the handwriting was not that good, and it was hard to read.
I went back to my dorm, later. I was tired, but still did my work, and crashed on my bed.
-----
A few days passed, and the issue of the Quibbler with Harry's interview had been released. The previous day, I had Sirius about the charm they used on the marauders map, so that it opened at the password. He sent me a reply, and I had asked this because I had a plan.
I was distributing quibblers to anyone who wanted it (except for the Inquisitorial Squad members, who would snitch on me). Terrance was at a corner, sitting on a window ledge and reading the book that I gotten him on Valentine's Day.
"Ms. Smith, what are you doing?" asked an unpleasant voice. "Giving out free notebooks Professor." I said.
Terrance got up and come next to me, when he heard Umbridge's voice. "I heard that certain lies are being distributed around the school, regarding Potter. And you seem like one of those who would spread it." she said.
"Absolutely not professor. I would not spread lies. Never." I said, and hoped that she did not notice the mocking behind it. "Can I see one of them then?" she asked, and stretched out her hand.
"Yes Professor." I answered and handed out a book. She opened it and found that it was indeed just plain pages inside. She handed it back and went somewhere else, without a word.
"How? Where did the words go?" asked Terrance.
"I asked Sirius for the charm. It's like a password. When a student asks, I give it saying a 'yes you may' which makes the writing appear. When I say 'yes professor' the words disappear. The only person that I will be calling professor today, is that pink toad."
"That's a great idea!" said Terrance.
I was just gave out the last copy I had, when there was tap on my shoulder. "May I talk to you for a sec?" asked Annalise. Her hair was tied up, and two strands were let loose; allowing it to detail her face. Her green eyes popped a bit due to the sunshine hitting her face.
"Sure Ann." I said, and looked over at Terrance, and he gave me a nod; his mind going back to the book in his hand.
We walked outside, and sat near the black lake. It was where I always sat, and talked. '"What is it Anne?"
