Everyone was in a gloomy mood. We all were in the hospital wing, with different injuries. Hermione had to take a bunch of potions, and Ron had the scar of the brains on his arms. Annalise had a broken rib, and I had a broken arm.

But thankfully due to magic, the bones would heal for me in about 2 days. And for Anne it would take about a week.

"Hey cub. How are feeling now?" asked Sirius, as he came near me. "Numb" I answered. Izzy's lose left a coldness around. There would be no more of her funny jokes, and warm smile. No more sweet pumpkin pie, or a living parent for Terrance. Sirius held me close, and wrapped an arm around me; rubbing my arm up and down to comfort me. "Terrance is staying with us at Grimmauld Place. Did you know?" he asked. "Really?" I asked. "Now that he's alone at home, Dumbledore said that he can stay with us. After 3 days. The day I'll be back from my mission."

"Mission?" I asked, looking at him. "Yes. I'm part of the Order, and now that I have been announced free of all charges, I can openly go for missions." he said with a small smile. Like it was something he always wanted to do. It was something he always wanted to do.

"Are you crazy? You almost died yesterday, and now you're gonna go get killed. No way! Izzy's gone and so is Robert. And now that Voldemort is back, he can kill people openly."

"I know. But I want to do it." he said, and I sighed.

"I know something that could hopefully make this better." said Remus, and handed me a bar of chocolate. "Thanks" I said. "Give it to Anne. It's her favourite. I'm gonna meet Terrance."

As soon I was let out of the hospital wing, I ran to the Ravenclaw tower. I was able to slip in, as everyone was busy packing, saying farewells and and talking about the return of Voldemort. I entered the 7th year boys' dorm. The decorations, and pictures on the walls had been taken down, leaving a empty barren room. None of the boys were there except for Terrance, and Roger who had just left on my arrival.

Terrance just sat there. His trunk wasn't packed. He was still in last night's Pajamas. "Terrance?" I called. But he did not turn back. I went and sat down next to him on his bed. His face was red, and so was his eyes. They were puffy, and it looked dead. It looked as if the last ray of hope in his eyes, was blocked.

I placed my hands on top of his, and laid my head on his shoulder. "Don't you wanna pack?" I asked; staring out the window just like he was.

"For what? For who? There's no one home. Dumbledore took the rest of my family into hiding. I don't want to go there. An empty house isn't home." he said, his voice shaky.

"You're staying with me. Dumbledore-"

"Yes he told me today morning. But I'm not coming there today is it?" he asked.

We stayed there like that for a long time. But when we heard the students leaving, we understood that we had to pack.

-----

The train ride was silent. The last year for  Terrance and Roger did not go as planned. Last year, they had planned a farewell party and stuff, and none of that happened. We tried talking to Terrance but he just sat there in sorrow. And I went to sleep; realizing that he needs his time to heal.

I got down on the platform to see, that the atmosphere had already turned a bit gloomy than before. At a distance I spotted the Weasleys, Sirius and Remus. Terrance gave a small kiss on the top of my head, and then started to walk away.

I ran back to him and asked, "Where do you think you're going?" "To my house." he said.

"You're not going alone. Let me hand my luggage to Remus, and I'll come with you."

"I'll just go. It's f-"

"I didn't say it's optional."

"Remus, could I go with Terrance to his house. I'll be back soon."

"No way-" started Sirius but Remus cut him off.

"Sure. Be back by 8 at least."

"Bu-" started Sirius. "She asked me, Padfoot." Remus said.

I nodded, and Terrance I apparated to his house. Terrance told me to wait, and went to the next door lady. A few minutes later, he came back with the key. The house was dark, and no one was home. He dropped his bag on the floor, and went into the kitchen. He walked around; tracing the kitchen counter with his hand.

"Terrance? Are you coming to the Burrow for dinner?"

He didn't answer. I knew I shouldn't bug him, but seeing him all silent, made my heart break. I wanted him to say something. Anything. "Terr-"

"What do you fucking want Cassie?" I stood there, stunned. I never heard him swear before.

"I just-" I started, but he cut me off.

"You don't understand anything do you? You think this is a freaking story?! I have lost everything. Everything I ever wanted, just slipped through my fingers. I feel like it's all. my. fault!" he shouted.

"It isn't your fault. I understand what you feel. K?" I said. Trying to keep calm. But I felt that I would cry.

"No you don't! You have everything. You have people. A family! The Weasleys, Sirius, Lupin everyone! I expect you to not want me anymore right? A boyfriend with no parents, doesn't seem cool. I don't have much money anymore. I can't get you expensive gifts. Everything will slip away from my hands like grains of sand on a windy day. I-"

"It's not about the gifts! I never wanted anything expensive. So you now think I'm some sort of money chaser? All I want is you. And how is it your fault?"

"If I had just stopped them both from going to the order. Just stopped at least mum, maybe then they wou-"

"They were strong people, who knew what they were doing. It isn't your fault. They are selfless people. And every second after she was dead, I wished to turn back time. To have been more attentive. She would have been alive. If I wasn't so stupid."

"Why are you talking as if it's your fault?" he asked.

And then my cool demeanor broke.  "It's my fault! It's my freaking fault! I am the reason she is dead! I ruined everything." I screamed, tears streaming down my face.

His eyes stared deep into my face. "Cass... What did you do?" he asked. "She died because of me. Because I decided to become a hero, and cast a spell. I was supposed to save not kill."

"Did you k-kill. No. Nonono. You didn't kill her right?" he asked, as dread filled him.

"I didn't mean to. It was not my plan." I said.

"All this time, I loved you. And now you do this? And you didn't come and tell me? Your plan was to hide it from me right?" he started walking backwards. "You wanted to use me right? How did you change? How could you become such a selfish moron? Why? Cass! I need an answer why? Why did you do it?" his back had touched the kitchen counter now, holding him from falling.

"I didn't mean to Te-"

"I NEED A FUCKING ANSWER CASS!! WHY?" he shouted.

I flinched. Seeing another side of someone, that I thought I knew so well. "I- I tried to save Sirius. I casted a spell to save him, and another spell came towards me from somewhere. Being the stupid idiotic person I am, I stayed frozen. And then Izzy came infront of me to save me, and then-" I was cut off from a hug.

"Oh my god Cass. You gave me heart attack. You gave out the wrong idea. It wasn't your fault. You tried to save someone didn't you?"

"What did you think? I'm sorry." I said, hugging him back. "I thought you- never mind."

" I love you Terrance."

"I love you more."

We sat there like that for sometime, and then made up the place so that Terrance could stay there.

"The dinner offer remains you know?" I said to him. "You sure? I mean I don't wanna disturb them." he said.

"You're family. They would love it. Now come on." I said, and we apparated to the burrow, where we had an awesome meal, and had a toast to Izzy.
