Chapter 2

Maya's POV

I slowly started to wake up. Riley and I must've fallen asleep on the couch. I got up and went to the fridge and pulled out a coke. I was drinking it when I heard my phone ring. I went and grabbed it off of the couch.

I got a text from Riley's uncle, Joshua, who I've liked for a while.

Josh😘😍: hey Maya
Me: hi joshua
Josh😘😍: so I was wondering if u were gonna be at Riley's house today?
Me: why?

Just then there was a knock at the door. I got up and opened it as Riley started to wake up.

"Hey, Maya?" Joshua said

"Josh!" I said happily

"Uncle Joshua!" Riley said as she hugged him

"Hey Riley, how are you?" Joshua asked

"Great! What RU doing here?" Riley asked

"Your dad invited me to come stay with u guys while my parents are away." Joshua answered

"Cool." Riley said

"Yea! I mean yea." I said trying to hold back my excitement

"It's nice to see you Maya." Joshua said

"Yea, I missed u." I said

"I missed u too." Joshua said

Then he hugged me. I hugged back, but this wasn't the first time that he's hugged me.

We were standing there hugging until we realized that Riley wasn't the only one in the room anymore.

"Uh...hey guys." Joshua said letting me go

"Hey there Riley's uncle, I am the Farkle!" Farkle said holding out his hand for Joshua to shake

"Hey Dr. turtle neck, I remember u." Joshua said

"Hey Joshua." Lucas said

"Oh hey, howdy, Riley still have a crush on you?" Joshua joked

"Joshua!" Riley yelled

"Sorry, just wanted to know." Joshua and I laughed

"Well, I don't, I like someone else now." Riley said

"Riles who?!?" I asked

"I'll tell u later, but it's NOT Lucas anymore." Riley said directed towards me

"Gee thanks riles." Lucas said

"I'm just telling the truth." Riley said

"Guys come on we're gonna be late" Farkle said

"Where RU guys going?" Joshua asked placing his bags down

"We're going to the building that's near the school with all the books." I said

"She means the library." Lucas said

"Why ru guys going to the library?" Joshua asked

"Don't know, I don't want to." I whined

"Maya, we have to." Lucas said

"Why??????" I whined

"Because we have to finish our project today so we can go to the game tonight." Riley explained

"Game?" Joshua asked

"There's a football game tonight." Riley said

"Yea and Farkle's bringing a girl." I pointed out

"Yes! I am! Why is that so unreal!" Farkle said throwing his hands up in the air

"Because your..."

" a Farkle!" I said finishing Lucas's sentence

"Do u two always finish each other's sentences like that?" Joshua asked

"No" Lucas and I said

We looked at each other and faced each other, only inches away.

"Stop doing that!"

"Stop!"

"Stop that!"

"No you stop it!"

"Ugh!"

Both Lucas and I looked at everyone and they just looked confused. Riley looked extremely happy and Joshua looked sad. Why?

"Well u too are adorable!" Riley squealed

I gave her a death glare and Lucas smiled at me.

"Well, if u guys are done, lets go." Farkle said

"I don't want to go!" I whined

"Maya can I talk to for a sec?" Joshua asked

"Actually! We leaving, like right now. Let's go Maya." Lucas said grabbing my arm and pulling me out of Riley's apartment

I can already tell she's gonna have a lot to say about what just happened.

Hahaha! Joshua is here. Lucas is jealous. Laya😍. SORRY FOR MY WEIRDNESS.
