Hide and Seek Part 1

You placed your had over your mouth in a desperate attempt to not make any noise as a predator stalked you.
You could hear his laughter which was almost hypnotic it was mocking you.
You knew you didn't have a chance to escape but you couldn't give up hope.

As you hid behind a tree, you remembered the events that led up to today. Why did you even agree. If you had simply said no you wouldn't be here.

Y/N's FLASHBACK:

You were laying on your bed scrolling through your phone. When your bestfriend Yoon called. She asked you if you were free this weekend and you mindlessly agreed to it. She told you that she and a couple of other of her friends were going to go on  a hiking trip on the weekend and she wanted you to come along.

When you asked her who would be coming along with you when one name peaked your intrest Hongjoong him and you were sworn enemies. You never quite understood what had triggered this between the both of you but when ever you were around each other you guys would always bicker. For some odd reason people started to ship both of you and this is exactly why Yoon had invited you.
You wanted nothing more than to just say no and stay back. But she started to guilt trip you and you eventually gave in.

It was the day of the trip and you and your friends all squished into Yoons car. Unfortunately you had to sit next to hongjoong a little to close for your liking. Both of you tried to keep your exchanges to the bare minimum.
After a while you noticed him drift off to sleep and rest his head on your shoulder. You wanted to nudge him off but you couldn't help but notice how peaceful he looked when he slept of only he was like this all the time.
He even seemed a little cute. At this point you started to stare at him.
"Take a picture, it will last longer" he said.
You froze.
You expected him to move away but instead he just nuzzled into you.
And you decided to doze of yourself.
When you opened your eyes you had reached your destination.
It had already gotten pretty late so, you and your friends decided to pitch up tents and call it a night.
You would go exploring once the sun came back up.

11:00 PM
Yoon had fallen asleep and you were still on your phone. You felt your bladder fill up. It was pretty late and no one was around you didn't want to go out yourself. You decided to go out anyway. What you didn't expect to see was that Hongjoong was awake and by the fire place.
"Where you headed off to?"
The restroom you answered and started to walk to it.

He sensed your apprehension and decided to accompany you so you would feel safer. You noticed and were about to let out a snarky comment but decided against it.
Once you did your business he walked you back. Not a word exchanged between the both of you. It wasn't awkward it was just calm and peaceful. Occasionally you would catch him stealing glances at you. You were grateful that it was dark otherwise he would see how pink your cheeks had become.

You stopped in front of your tent and nodded at him signaling that he could leave. As he was about to he rummaged his pockets and pulled out a little pocket knife and handed it to you.
When you told him there was no reason for you to keep it.
He looked at you dead in the eye and said
"You never know"
With a smile across which seemed more like a smirk a chill ran down your spine. You accepted it not wanting to continue this conversation and got into the tent.

2:45 AM
You were asleep when you heard rustling being a light sleeper it caused you to wake up. You looked to your side to see that Yoon was no longer beside you. Thinking that she just went to the restroom you tried going back to sleep.
The again you heard a twigs snapping as if someone were walking you assumed it was Yoon and were about to open the tent when you heard a laugh. It didn't belong to Yoon it didn't belong to any one of your friends.
You decided to open a bit of the tent and have a peak.
No one was there the fire had gone out. What looked like water was splashed all across the ground. You opened the tent fully and got out to restart the fire to keep wild animal's away. You got near and lit a match that is when you noticed that it wasn't water that was covering the ground it was blood. In fact it was the blood of your dear friend Yoon.
