Both of you were snuggled up under the blanket watch a movie as the rain gently poured down in the background.
It was getting colder as the sun began to set so you rested your head on your boyfriends shoulder and snuggled up to him to get a little extra warmth.
Taking advantage of the opportunity he wrapped an arm around you and brought you closer to rest on his chest. As the movie went on he noticed that you were fully invested in the story which he found cute.
You looked so focused. It made him smile seeing you like this.
He leaned down gently placing a finger under your chin to lift up your face as he started to lean in waiting to feel the softness of your lips but instead he felt your hand on his mouth pushing him away.
He swiftly moved his face away feeling embarrassed.
He brushed it off and acted normal. As he didn't want to ruin the mood and asked you to continue watching the movie.
Inside he felt hurt it was like you took a shot at his ego. Wasn't he good enough for you.
You would eventually learn to love him as much as he loved you or atleast you would learn to you had if you wanted to keep breathing so he let this one go and stared at the screen blankly.

You were standing in front of a simmering pot as you were adding a bunch of spices to atler the taste of the stew to match the liking of your boyfriend.
You wiped of beads of sweat off your forehead with the sleeve of your dress feeling the fatigue slip in as you had been working since morning around the house.
Turning your attention to the task in front of you deciding to chop up some fresh herbs to add in.
You didn't notice the door click open over the sound of music blasting from a speaker near by as it was the only thing that kept you company in the empty house when he was away. You don't even remember how you got here one minute you were surrounded by people laughter and conversation filled the air.
