Scarlet's Point of View:

Before I went to the stadium, I did my morning routine. First I showered, changed, then ate a big breakfast for the long day ahead of me, and left a note for Sergio.

While I was in the car driving to Vicente Calderon Stadium, Atletico's stadium, my song Wonderland came onto the radio. I was singing along to the lyrics when I realized, how did Sergio not know I was a famous singer? Sure, I didn't tell anyone that I could sing, the only person that knew before I left was Lionel Messi when he caught me singing in the showers after his training. I made sure to take a mental note to ask him about that later.

The song finished just as I pulled into the parking lot. It was 8:00AM and I was two hours early, just how I liked it. I felt it made me better to have more practice then the usual two-four hours that's mandatory. I was already changed into shorts, cleats, and Fernando Torres' old Atletico jersey.

I was in my own world for the next two hours. Doing all sorts of warm ups; penalties, free kicks, and upper nineties. I finished by running four laps around the track making sure I was going to be faster than him when I go against his team. I closed my eyes, and sprinted the last lap having my feet carry me away.

I walked over to the stands to get my water bottle, and took a few long sips. "Torres number two? I don't think so! I'm the real deal!" I heard the voice of my best friend in the whole world yell.

"Nando!" I ran over to his arms, jumping into them, luckily he caught me. I nuzzled my head into his neck, "I missed you so much."

"Who doesn't miss me?" he laughed.

"Nevermind, I take that back. Loser." I playfully stuck my tongue at him.

"Aha, Scarlet. What a pleasure! You have to meet the team! Don't worry, they're going to love you! Just don't say anything about Antoine's hair, he is very protective of that." Coach Diego Simeone.

"And this is Antoine Griezmann."

"His hair isn't that bad actually, what are you guys judging him for?" I questioned the team.

"You're my new favorite. By the way I also love your music." Antoine winked at me.

"je vous remercie, ainsi que nous pouvons même parler des gens en français ensemble." ( Thank you, we can even talk about people in French together.) I laughed with Antoine. "By the way, your new name is Anto." I yelled walking away from him to Diego.

"I get to call you Scar!" Anto yelled back.

"What? I had to wait almost five months before I could call you Scar!" Nando scowled.

"Cry me a river and get over it."

After practice we had a 'team' dinner. We talked about future games, practices, and the World Cup we had in the summer. I became very defensive for both Spain and Argentina, my favorite national team. Once they judged Spain for not being successful, nearly the whole team stood up, and started yelling. We settled that not every team can be amazing every year, but then they had the nerve to judge the whole Argentina squad for losing to Germany. That's when I cracked. "You do not have the right to judge another players performance on one match! I know for a fact that the whole team worked long and hard to get over the disappointment of letting down a whole continent!" I yelled. I grabbed my stuff and walked out of the restaurant, not even finishing my food.

I got in my car and drove to the one place I could think of, Barcelona.

Authors Note;
I wrote this on El Clasico, so I'm not sure if I'm extremely happy right now, or if I will be crying my eyes out. Both teams probably worked hard to get the satisfaction of winning this match, and getting a lead on the table. No, Scarlet is not being acted by Taylor Swift, I just love her music. I'm not even going to put a person to act Scarlet, because I don't want to force you to imagine a person as I'm writing them, so you can choose who you want to play Scar, and keep it to yourself. I'm probably just going to choose random music from various artists to express Scarlet's emotions with songs too. Who's your favorite Atletico Madrid player? Mines tied between Fernando Torres and Antoine Griezmann. They are both amazing with the ball at their feet, but I'm leaning more towards Antoine, because he plays for France, my second favorite national team. Also, no I don't like Argentina, but they were great at the WC.
