Scarlet's Point of View

I was awaken by the sound of cameras clicking. 'What the heck?' I opened my eyes to see almost the entire team taking pictures of James and so sleeping. "What in the world guys! We are just trying to sleep!" I threw a pillow at them, waking James up.

He turned around, since he was laying on his stomach, and saw the team there. "Hey guys." He rubbed his eyes.

"We all need to leave for the bus back home in." Marcelo looked down at his phone, "about five minutes."

"Five minutes?" I jumped up, causing James' arm to fall off me, Toni nodded,

"Were you not listening? He just said that we le-"

I didn't let him finish, "Move! Move! Move!" I shoved and pushed through the players running to the bathroom, grabbing Dani's jersey he gave me last night.

I opened the door, and ran in. I brushed my teeth in the fastest amount of time I think anyone could ever do, and shoved the jersey on, running out of the door.

Pepe looked at me funny, "You do know that your shirt is backwards right?"

I groaned, but didn't have enough energy to go back to the bathroom, so I changed while grabbing my suitcase and walking out of the room. "Lets go guys!" I ran down the hallway, hoping I wouldn't wake up any visitors.

"Dani Alves? He's my brother from another mother! You have great taste!" I heard Marcelo yell from down the hallway.

//

"You know what Carlo, I think you should sit James and Scarlet together." Sergio winked at us two standing together against the wall.

"If I had another pillow I would hit you again." I pushed myself off the wall. "I guess I can just use my fist." I balled it up, getting ready to punch his stomach.

"Slow down, firecracker." Asier Illadrademi grabbed my fist, stopping me.

"Team!" Carlo shouted across the bus, "Here is who you are sitting with. There are your two rules, do not annoy me, and do not annoy your partner." He started reading off his clipboard.

//

"And finally James and Scarlet." He winked at us, "Now if you really want to, there's an empty room in the back. We need more players in the future."

I took a moment to realize what he said, "Carlo! You nasty animal!" I scrunched my fave up in disgust, what kinds of things does he think on a daily basis?

"I'm justing kidding, I need both of you to be able to preform your best at international break."

The bus ride back to Madrid was great, until halfway through. James and I fell asleep once again, and the team thought it would be hilarious to post pictures of us together all over the internet. "I will seriously kill all of you!" I ran over to Keylor Navas, who was finalizing posting a picture on Instagram.

"That's cute. Double tap." Carlo smiled at his phone, liking Keylor's picture of James and I.

"Guys be quite at least! He is still sleeping!" I put a blanket over Rodriguez.

"Adorable. I officially give you permission to date him Scarlet." Karin slapped my back, "Now go back to cuddling. It makes extremely good photos."

I groaned while walking to the back of the bus, sitting by Iker, who tore himself from the group. "This is how I feel all the time. Get used to it kiddo. Next they are going to want to get matching tee shirts." Iker rolled his eyes, "Kids these days."

I rested my head back on the chair, "I know how you feel man." I closed my eyes.

"Scarlet you forgot you babe over here!" Cristiano picked James up.

James' eyes shot open, looking around frantically. He started kicking trying to have Ronaldo let him go. "Put me down!"

Cris dropped him on both Iker and mine's laps.

It was Ecuador against Argentina, and I was officially apart of the team, but I would be sitting this game out. Just like what I did against El Salvador.

The 70th minute was approaching, and Gerardo wanted me to replace Sergio Agüero. Since I had already know the team from Lionel taking me to practices when I lived in Spain, and dated Marc, I already knew the team.

Sergio and I hugged, then I ran onto the field. "Kick their butts." Lionel stood up from the bench, as he hurt his ankle earlier.

The sideline referee whipped his head around so fast I thought it would fall off. Leo quickly went back to his seat while the rest of the bench was laughing.

We ended up winning two to one, but it wasn't much a win for me. I had to get back on a flight to Madrid in just a few hours. I showered, and left for the airport, but not without a little bit of a dance party in the locker room with the team.

//

Being back in Madrid, I had to get ready for the match against Granada, coming up this Sunday.

Author's Note//
This chapter was a major filler, but I promise the next one will be great. I mean it was 9-1, how wasn't that match your favorite of the year? This is going unedited, because I don't really feel like going over that, and I am working on a new book which will have all sorts of footballers in it, so be ready for that. It will probably be updated once a week though.
