I knew it. I knew it from the moment that Tyde set her pretty little eyes on Matt that there was something going on, or that had previously gone on. You could from the way her smile suddenly broadened when she saw him. I wish she'd smile like that when she saw me.  I was hoping that if they'd had something going on before, then it was in the past and forgotten about. I'd managed to convince myself that this was the case, and that they were just catching up in the club and having a chat.

I watched them for a while, worrying myself a little bit as they were being quite flirty towards each other. Maybe this is just how Tyde was? I'd never seen her around other people, maybe this was just her normal behavour? Just to prove a point to Matty, which I suppose seemed quite shady, and to give myself comfort, I snaked my arm around Tyde's waist, and she smiled at me - proving my theory correct. I was still hers tonight, and Matty didn't mean anything to her in that way. Thank God. That was until she said she didn't feel well and ditched me to go out into the smoking gardens. I didn't have a problem with that, she looked more startling (beautifully) paler than usual and looked like she needed some air, so I let go of her. She rushed out into the gardens, rubbing the temples on her forehead. I went over to the bar to get her a glass of water and got cornered by Kyle.

"Where's Tyde and Matty gone?" He asked me, sipping his drink. He peered into the glass I was holding. "I hope that's vodka and not water, you bloody lightweight!"

I shook my head. "Tyde said she didn't feel too good, so she went outside for some fresh air. I just grabbed a glass of water for her. Matty must be out there with her..."

"She's only had a few drinks, she's gonna have to learn how to drink like us men!" Kyle yelled, thumping his chest and downing the rest of his pint.

"Men manage to make beer come out of their nose?" I teased, as Kyle coughed and spluttered after downing his pint.

"Go find your little girlfriend, lightweight lad!" Kyle mumbled, pushing me into the direction of the smoking gardens and following me there.

I wish Kyle had never made me go out there.

There were two people in the corner, kissing passionately. Matty and Tyde. He had Tyde pushed up against the wall and she had her hands tangled in his hair. There were so wrapped up in each other that they never noticed me and a jaw-dropped Kyle standing in the doorway until Tyde pulled back for air slowly. Her eyes locked onto mine.

The next thing I knew, I'd tipped the water all over their heads.

Oh hell, what was I going to say now? Nice one, Dan. You've messed up this time.
