Day Eighteen (Monday) Part 2

"Monoma said WHAT???"

"QUIET MINA HE'LL HEAR YOU-"

I quickly slapped my hand over Mina's mouth, silencing her instantly.

"I'm sorry I'm sorry!" She said as she pushed my hand away. "But did he really say that though? THE Monoma Neito??" Mina asked, eyes wide and mouth slightly agape.

"Yeah. Crazy, right?" I nodded excitedly, a big smile spreading across my face.

"So when are you gonna go on a date with him?"

"MINA!!"

"Sorry, sorry." Mina laughed, holding her hands up. "You two do make a cute couple though." I rolled my eyes and scoffed.

"He very explicitly said 'no feelings' or else he'll unfriend me in real life," I told her.

"So in other words you're going to get your friendship card declined," Mina summed up.

"That is exactly it! He also threatened to shove his foot up my ass."

"Aren't you into that though?"

I was about to respond, but quickly shut my mouth, thinking through my response again to make sure it wasn't something stupid.

"Ok listen that was one FUCKING time can you PLEASE stop bringing it up??" Mina burst out laughing at my reaction and I sighed, taking a sip from my glass of water.

The two of us were currently sitting in an empty classroom nearby the cafeteria, eating our lunch. Aizawa had gotten sick of us yelling at him 24/7 to allow us in and eventually agreed, on the condition that we leave him the fuck alone.

"Ok ok, I'm calm now. Continue."

"..So I got really excited and I jumped on him and he actUALLY CAUGHT ME LIKE???"

"OH MY GOD REALLY????" Mina nearly shrieked. She leaned back in her chair and propped her feet up onto the desk. "Told you he was a bottom."

"I know I know I owe you ten bucks I won't forget. But anyway, he CARRIED ME to school. I was so excited about it I literally can't," I explained, smiling as I told the story.

Mina took a sip of her water through a straw, staring at me with wide eyes. The glass was nearly empty, so as she sipped it, it made a loud almost bubbling noise. Then, she dropped her feet to the ground and set her glass on the desk, leaning forward as much as she could with her chin propped on her hands.

"So when's the date?"

"WHAT THE HELL MINA??"

"I'm just asking!!"

"We're not going on a date, I don't like him like that," I stated confidently. Mina took another sip of water to make the noise again.

"Cap."

"Fuck you. I'm just getting to the best part come on." Mina sighed and set her arms flat on the desk, resting her head on them. "I called him a nickname." She picked up her head so fast she nearly got whiplash.

"What'd you call him??"

"...Mono Mono..." Mina stared for a moment before she burst out laughing.

"YOU'RE JUST ASKING FOR ME TO MAKE MOTTO MOTTO JOKES NOW!!" She pointed out.

"WHAT?? NO THAT WAS NOT MY INTENTION AT ALL BUT GO OFF-"

"Look out (Y/n), I think Mono Mono likes you~" I stared at her for a minute before closing my eyes and taking a deep breath.

"You are so lucky we are in a school full of pro heroes."

"That.. never stopped you before..."

"Listen ok I can't get kicked out of the school now I've got too much to lose," I explained.
