"You and you're beloved (Y/N) will not be harmed. The poor girl did nothing bad to me."
Bendy blushed at the word 'beloved'. Never had he thought of it that way. Maybe he did care, maybe he didn't. Either way, he was never going to show it.
"She's not my beloved. She's just someone that- that-...." He sighed, giving up on his speech. "I don't know..."

Frustrated, the Ink Demon stomped out of the room to join the rest of us, who were now heading down to level 9, where we have a 50% chance of meeting Alice. I just hoped it'd be easier than that...

The four of us looked around heavenly toys, one of the last places to look at, but none of us found anything. Allison looked under a giant Boris plushie and shrugged, Thomas looked back at her and sighed. The couple then looked at me and Bendy, I sat against a large Bendy plush, and the ink demon carried on looking.
"Get up." He said, holding out a hand. I smiled and shook my head. I had already looked all around the place, so (to me), I deserved some rest. The Ink Demon rolled his eyes (which I couldn't see him do) and continued with the search.

Eventually, I felt guilty and helped them as well. After about 10 minutes, we all have up and gathered around the giant Bendy plush I rested against earlier.
"I don't think it's in here..." Allison stated the obvious.
"WELL NO?!" I sarcastically replied. In sync, the couple rolled their eyes at me, while the ink demon did nothing. I got up from my spot and turned to the three of them. "There's one place we haven't looked around yet..."
"Very well, Allison and Tom can carry on with their search here, I'll go with you," Bendy ordered. Watching the couple nod and walk away from the two. They both knew what and what not to do, so they left as quickly as they could. And truth be told, they were glad to leave the ink demon.

"Shall we go then?" I asked, holding out a hand.
"Yup." He replied, ignoring the gesture and walking away. It was a struggle catching up with him.

The two of us entered a newly 'renovated' room. It was Alice's experimenting room, the room where she took and changed Boris, the room where she'd ruin the butcher gang clones for her own sake.
I hated this room and wanted to be out of it as soon as possible.

When I said it was newly 'renovated', I meant that she just added a lot more furniture to the room. For example, there were now a few large cupboards and some more workspace areas in the corner of the room.
I paid no more attention to the furniture and carried on looking for the toolbox.

We kept looking, and in a large cupboard, we spotted the toolbox. But before I could grab it, the both of us heard a twist of the doorknob.
Right as that happened, Bendy's first instinct was to quickly grab me, pulling us both under a table in the corner of the room. It took a little while for us to get comfortable, especially for Bendy as I lay on top of him, and mainly because of his height. Eventually, though, we were able to quietly shift into a more comfortable position. Bendy put his gloved hand over my mouth, leaving me unable to speak. He didn't suffocate me though, I could breathe perfectly fine.

We listened to Alice, hearing her move around the room, but when she noticed a certain cupboard door open, her eye almost popped out of her socket.
"Someone's been here..." She whispered.
After hearing that, we thought she was going to leave, but she didn't. Instead, she sighed, grabbing some tools from the toolbox. "No matter, at least they didn't touch anything, those blasted butchers!"

With each sound, footsteps, fidgeting, even when she'd mumble to herself, it made me feel paranoid. Not even her in general, just the situation in general. If we were to get caught, I'd be screwed. Bendy... Not so much.
"Calm down..." Bendy whispered softly into my ear. Truth be told, I never noticed how much I was shaking. Bendy hugged me, pulling me closer to him than ever, and it was all just an effort to calm me down. I didn't want to be caught, but with the way, I was acting, I was sure we were going to get caught in a matter of seconds, I guess Bendy could tell as well.
I never replied, for if I did, I was sure to be caught. My voice was just too loud, whispering or not, and that's why I hated it.
Nevertheless, I never spoke. And we both stayed in that very position for around half an hour, right before she left the room.

I never understood what went on, and all I could hear were the sounds of her mumbling angrily to herself and saying hurtful words to herself as I peeked through and saw her try and open something.
Right before she left though, she kept the box in the room, with a broken pin on top. Next to it, was another collection of bent pins.
When we saw this, Bendy snickered. He knew the angel was stupid, but gosh, he never expected this. And to him it was amusing.
"How the fuck does she not realise that those pins aren't going to work!?" He struggled to say, as the fit of laughter took over. I joined in, chuckling to myself.
"I don't know, she's probably heading out to get more pins." I laughed quietly, as Bendy laughed even more than before. I had never seen the Ink Demon show this much emotion before, and I kind of liked it.

"What's in the box anyway?" I asked myself, not realising I had repeated the phrase out loud.
Bendy tilted his head, "Oh yeah," he said. "Should we take it?"
I originally thought about it, and wanted to take it, but then Alice would definitely know what was up. She may be stupid when it comes to picking locks, but she's not stupid when it comes to just knowing what others are up to. And that was the part that concerned me the most.
I worried that she may know exactly what we were planning. And if so, that would be scary.
"No, I don't think that's a good idea..."

The Ink Demon looked at my expression and my body language. By now, he had come to recognise mine and could see I was extremely paranoid. He sighed and walked up to me. Wrapping an arm around my shoulder, the Ink Demon walked with me over to the toolbox in the now-closed cupboard.

He pulled out the big, heavy toolbox from the cupboard and passed it to me for the time being. I held it securely whilst he closed the cupboard and directed me out of the room. I sighed, joyful that I was out of that room that I hated dearly. I handed the toolbox back to the Ink Demon and after that, we both strolled down the corridor happily, well, me more happy than Bendy.

The two of us met with the group shortly after we got the toolbox. Allison and Tom were glad to have us with them, as they finally had more company. But they were more overjoyed to know that we were never coming back to this area again (well, for a good while at least). And at last, we made out way back to the one and only Bertrum Piedmont.
