You shed your personality as if it were your clothes,
a crown jewel to be taken off at the end of the day.
You wear a smile as though you've never been morose.
You're a trickster who always gets your way.How do you know when to summon tears
and wield your vulnerability like a spear?
Such addiction to the audience's cheer—
Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.Does it hurt to fake your relations
for rains of congratulations?
Drowning in attention,
lost in standing ovation. You keep on chasing, and chasing trends
And don't care when your opinion offends
But what you have are spectators and not friends—
And dear, oh dear, that's where you'll end.
