Shiro's POV. Throne Room, Tenshukaku.
Shiro: And that's pretty much about it.
Shiro: Somehow, we managed to avoid an armed conflict.
I told Ei everything that transpired just the other day.
Ei: I see. I'm sorry for letting you do the heavy work for me.
Shiro: It's fine. Well, it is also a part of my work to make sure that the Tri-Commission will be cooperating with you and Watatsumi Island.
Ei: What do you think of their divine priestess.
I sighed as I said my observations.
Shiro: I can feel she is nervous when conflict rose during the peace talks.
Shiro: I also noticed that she's kinda tired.
Ei: I see. For someone as young as her.
Shiro: Well, whether she like it or not, the Sangonomiya Bloodline flows within her and her being appointed as the divine priestess of Watatsumi Island is inevitable for her.
Ei: What about the Tenryou Commission? How are they doing so far?
Shiro: They're slowly stabilizing.
Shiro: I also personally went to the training grounds with Sara even present.
Shiro: I taught her some tactics and battle formation while we're at it.
Shiro: I also taught the soldiers the value of acting independent in the battlefield.
Shiro: Though cooperation is essential, being independent is also essential especially in dire situations.
Shiro: The late Captain of the Guard of the Minamoto Estate, Sir Atsushi taught me this:
Shiro: "Being independent in battle is also a factor in winning large battles. Why? It is because you yourself are making it hard or the enemy to predict your moves."
Shiro: "Your unpredictability alone, will throw chaos among the ranks of the enemy forces."
Shogun: I see. No wonder why in our fight against the Abyss Order, you decided for the two of us to split up.
Shiro: Exactly, and when you lead the charge from behind.........
Shiro: I never expected you'll do that.
Ei: Hehe. I learned a thing or two from you when you and the Traveler fought me last time.
Ei: And during our sparring sessions.........
Ei: You always read my moves.......and always find a way to counter them.
Shiro: Well, sparring with you a few times, I already got a read on your moves.
Ei: Well, I also noticed that you're not using a spear.
Shiro: Not fond of them. I always struggle with spear techniques.
