Story 1

The Minamoto Clan, the first clan to have ever served the Raiden Shogun. The only clan who knew the true identities of Baal and Beelzebul. A clan that already exists for 500 years even before the start of the Archon War. The clan itself is leading a small village who was their followers during that time. They were only a simple clan, not until the beginning of the Archon War.

Story 2

When the Archon War broke out, during that time, the Minamoto Clan was caught in the chaos of the gods in ancient Inazuma. The gods wanted to gain the favor of the said ancient clan but the Minamotos refused as they knew that the god is only using them for evil intentions. Until Baal, who posed as a villager, asked for shelter during the war. Baal knew the attempts of the other gods to gain the favor of the clan, and Baal immediately figured out what she needs to do to gain the clan's favor, to have one goal and that is to protect their people. So, Baal succeeded and along with Beelzebul, her sister, and their followers, founded the Inazuma Shogunate.

Story 3

For at least 100 years, the Minamoto Clan served as the advisers of Raiden Makoto, and subordinates to her kagemusha, Raiden Ei. Even during the Archon War, the Minamoto Clan lead the defense of Inazuma from countless invasions from the enemy gods. After a hundred years however, the Minamoto Clan stepped down from their position and created the Tri-Commission to serve the Raiden Shogun. Although Makoto objected at first, the Minamoto Clan made sure that the Tri-Commission will be able to live up to their expectations, and the Tri-Commission really did live up to the expectations, and the Minamoto Clan stepped down in peace, but they never forgot their promise to the Raiden Shogun, to protect the people of Inazuma. This promise held true throughout the Archon War, and the Cataclysm which occurred 500 years ago. They also knew the passing of the Original Electro Archon and the ascension of Raiden Ei as the New Electro Archon. Yet their loyalty to the Shogunate never changed, an example of eternity. Their leaders may change, but their promise lasted throughout time. But despite their loyalty to Inazuma and their people, they were betrayed by the people they swore to protect. The Minamoto Clan was wiped out, by the Tenryou Commission and the Fatui.

Vision

"I will not let my father's sacrifice go to waste.........! Please...........please.............Even if it is just for a moment..........! Let me protect...........! The people I care about!"

These are the words of the young Minamoto Shiro before receiving his Vision. The events that lead to him gaining his Vision, the Minamoto Clan Massacre, the death of the current leader of the clan and Shiro's beloved father, Minamoto Asahi, the sight of the Minamoto Estate being burned down, the servants that he knew, the guards that he trained with, all of it was taken away from him, right in front of his eyes. For such a young child to experience these events, is just too much. Yet Shiro still pressed on, he continued living, to search for the answers, the reason why it happened to his clan. His Vision was reminder of his father's determination to see his duty until the very end, and a reminder of how he eventually got his Vision.

"To protect the people precious to him."

Tachi and Wakizashi: Tsukiyomi and Mikoto, the Fate cutting swords.

The swords that he possessed. During the events of ending the Vision Hunt Decree, the swords became became a way to end the Vision Hunt Decree. The swords were originally gifts from Ayato and Ayaka during Shiro's 15th birthday. The Kamisato Siblings commissioned Ryoma, who is also revealed one of Shiro's friends, to make a pair of swords for him, a tachi and wakizashi. When he received the swords, he sincerely thanked his adoptive siblings for the gift, and when Ryoma visited him and asked him about the swords, Ryoma told him, "I'm sure that these swords will finally be able to achieve what I wanted to achieve, a sword that can cut fate and surpass the Musou no Hitotachi." Shiro initially dismissed this idea as he believed that the Musou no Hitotachi is unblockable, but then, it happened, he managed to surpass the Musou no Hitotachi, with the swords that were gifted to him.
