Shiro's POV. Shiro's Room, Kamisato Residence.
Currently, it's already our summer break, and during summer, usually my family will visit the shrine that we manage.
But since both of my adoptive parents and Thoma are abroad, we won't be able to do that. Not to mention, watching over my two adoptive siblings, Ayato-nii and Ayaka.
I mostly do the cooking since I can't trust Ayato-nii when it comes to cooking due to his habit of putting suspicious in them, as for Ayaka, she's horrible in terms of cooking that I had to step in or else the house could've exploded. Ayato takes care of the washing the dishes, and Ayaka takes the cleaning of the house. As for the laundry, we take turns.
Except for the rooms, since I told them that their room, their responsibility, unless if I need to take matters in my own hands.
Like one time, Ayaka's room was a total mess and I forced myself to CLEAN her room. I didn't care if I had to see her underwear, I HAD TO CLEAN HER ROOM! After that, I gave her a long lecture, and since then, Ayaka's room has been clean as ever.
So, basically, even though I am the middle child (adopted middle child), why do I feel like I'm the one acting like the eldest child?
But nevertheless, Ayato and Ayaka can be reliable when it really counts.
As of now, the two are in their respective rooms. Ayato-nii is currently studying for his entrance exams for the university, while Ayaka and I are doing our summer homework, though I'm really done with it, I don't know about Ayaka.
And right now, I have a visitor, and it's none other than my girlfriend, Raiden Ei, who is inside of my room, and I'm watching her do her homework, because she haven't done any of the homeworks.
Ei: Shiro, I can't take this homework anymoooorrrrreeeeeee. Please do it for me.
She whines as she lays her head on my study table. While I sternly denied her request.
Shiro: No. Do your homework. How the hell can you even get good grades in our class when you're a lazybone?
Ei: I don't know, maybe luck.
Shiro: Or maybe Makoto-san is the one doing her homework? No, that's impossible. Makoto-san is actually more intelligent than Ei.
Shiro: But, let me ask. Is it okay for you to be here? I mean, Makoto-san is alone at the house right now.
Ei: Ah, don't worry. Our parents are actually home, and I told them that I'll spend the night here.
Shiro: I see—Wait, what!? Spend the night here!? Are you crazy!? We don't have any spare rooms—Oh! Wait, I can just sleep on the living room.
Ei: No! Stay here.
Shiro: And where will you stay?
Ei: What are you talking about, we'll sleep together!
Shiro: My bed is only just one person.
Ei: Eh? Really?
Shiro: Yeah.
Ei: ...........
