The last two days have gone by super fast. People have asked about my face. I told them I fell off a longboard! Anyways, last day! My mom will pick me up because she needs pictures with my teachers of course! Social studies went surprisingly fast. But since it's the last day, we've basically done nothing.
Last class. Choir. Everyone starts counting down. The bell rings. Everyone screams and runs out as Mr.Martin laughs and wishes us a good summer. Ashley, Julia, and I walk out together. As we pass the bathroom, Julia pulls us in. We're laughing but stop. She looks worried. "Guys, I'm gonna be quiet in case someone's listening. But I'm scared. About the thing in the woods." Ashley and I exchange worried expressions. "Anyways," Julia continues, " I had this dream last night. We were going to check on it as usual. And it was gone. It had been stolen. I'm scared. I know it was just a dream but it seemed so real." Ashley's smile comes back. "Come on Ju Ju! It was a dream! Last day of school!!! Why would we want to worry? Nothing will happen to it! But don't talk about it here," Ashley says, looking around. Julia looks reassured. "Let's go," I yell. "We'll check on it first thing tomorrow morning!"
