90 moons: The death of Swanpetal and Lightningbreeze

28 moons have passed and Swanpetal was my second for 50 moons. She had died of Whitecough before Lurksong could treat her. I walked onto the tall rock and summoned the colony to gather around. "Cats of Lightning colony gather around the tall rock for a meeting." I announced. "Our last deputy Swanpetal died of Whitecough, so I must appoint a new second so I'm appointing Spotteddream to be my next second. Spotteddream." I announced. "Yes Lightningbreeze?" Spotteddream asked. "Will you be Lightning colonies next second?" I asked. "Yes Lightningbreeze, I will." Spotteddream said as she walked onto the tall rock next to me. "And with that colony dismissed." I announced. "Do you need me to do anything, Lightningbreeze?" Spotteddream asked. "If you can get the border and hunting patrols done that would be great." I said. "Alright Lightningbreeze, will do." Spotteddream assigned the patrols and walked over to my den. "Alright Lightningbreeze, the patrols are taken care of." Spotteddream said. "Thank you Spotteddream." I said. "You are welcome." Spotteddream said. Spotteddream walked over to her sister Darkspot. "Congratulations, Spotteddream for becoming second. Mom would be proud." Darkspot said. "Awe, thanks Darkspot. When I'm captain I will make you my second." Spotteddream said. "You will." Darkspot said. "Yeah." Spotteddream said. I started to breathe really hard now and I was coughing up blood. Lurksong ran over to me. "Lightningbreeze come to my den and I will treat your cough." Lurksong said. "Okay, Lurksong." I said as we walked to her den and I laid down on the mossy bed. "Here take this, this will help with your cough." Lurksong said as she pulsed the water into my mouth. "Thank you Lurksong." I said. "I will let you rest until your cough gets better." Lurksong said. "Thanks." I said as I lowered my head onto my paws and closed my eyes. I knew I was on my final life and my time was very long gone. I stopped breathing. "LIGHTNINGBREEZE, NO NO NO. SPOTTEDDREAM COME QUICK, LIGHTNINGBREEZE ISN'T BREATHING." Lurksong yelled as Spotteddream came into the den. "Is she dead?" Spotteddream asked. "Sadly yes." Lurksong said. "I guess I will have to take her place as captain, right?" Spotteddream asked as she picked me up and brought me to the clearing of the base. "Let all cats old enough to run in our fields gather around the tall rock for a meeting." Spotteddream announced. "Our captain Lightningbreeze had died and joined the anestors, so I'm taking her place as captain and also I have to appoint a second. Darkspot will you be Spotted colonies second?" Spotteddream asked. "Yes I will." Darkspot said as she walked onto the tall rock next to Spotteddream.
