It was only a few days after Badger died. Snowlight walked into the den. "Are you ready for some training today, Lightning?" Snowlight asked. "Yeah, I will try my hardest to make you proud of me. So what are you going to teach me today?" I asked. "I'm going to teach you some hunting techniques." Snowlight said as we walked out of camp and into the fields. "Now I want you to get as close to the ground as possible and sniff the air for prey." Snowlight said as I crouched to the ground. I sniffed the air for prey and smelled out a vole and I stalked the vole and pounced onto the vole digging my claws into it. "Good catch Lightning." Snowlight said. "Thanks Snowlight." I said. "Come on back to camp." Snowlight said as we walked back to base. I put my prey onto the fresh kill pile and grabbed a Adder and brought it back to the den. "So Black, how is Snowflower's treating you?" I asked. "She taught me about the territory and our borders. So what did Snowlight teach you?" Black asked. "She taught me how to hunt and I caught a vole." I said excitedly. "You did." Black said. Snowlight walked into the den. "Lightning, Black." Snowlight said. "Oh hi, Snowlight." I said. "Tonight is the moon light gathering and you two are invited." Snowlight said. "Wait is Hobble, and Silver coming too?" Black asked. Snowlight smiled. "Yes they are." Snowlight said. "My first moon light gathering as new claw, I'm so excited Snowlight." I said. "I know you are Lightning." Snowlight said as we could her Blackstripe talking to Wolffang talking about how they are going to protect her kids from any danger out there including her father Darkpath from hurting us. But the moon light gathering is tonight after all.
