8 Moons: Badger's accident

Badger sat down in front of the road. I caught up with him. "Badger, please listen to me." I said as I sat down next to him. "I never wanted to be a healer." Badger said. "I'm so lucky to have you as my brother." I said. "Are you sure?" Badger asked. "Yes I'm sure." I said. Badger ran out onto the road not looking for monsters. A monster rushed through running over Badger. "Badger. No, no no no." I said as I ran over to Badger's lifeless body. "Please don't leave me, I love you so much Badger. Please wake up, please." I cried as Snowlight ran over to us. "What happened, Lightning?" Snowlight asked. "He ran out onto the road and didn't look. He was ran over." I cried. "Lightning, I don't blame you for Badger's death." Snowlight said. "I miss him so much, Snowlight." I cried. "I know you do. May the anestors light his path and know let's get back to base." Snowlight said as she picked him up. "Oh my stars, what happened to him?" Mom asked. "Mom, he was hit by a monster on the road." I said as I ran to my mother. Snowlight leapt onto the tall rock. "Let all cats old enough to run in our fields gather around the tall rock for a meeting." Snowlight announced. The cats of Snow colony gathered around the tall rock and looked up at Snowlight. Even Snowsight was seen in the Snow colony clearing. "I'm saddened with the news of Badger's death but the colony must be strong to live on the path of life. I must appoint a new new claw for Snowsight. So I choose Lurk to be her new claw." Snowlight announced to the colony. "I want to be alone right now dad, I will be in the new claw den." I said as I walked to the new claw den. My dad followed me to the den. "It's not your fault that Badger died." Dad said. "I miss him so much dad." I cried as dad sat down next to me. Mom walked into the den and sat down next to us. "Yeah, like your father said. It's not your fault." Mom said. "But I was there when he died. Sometimes I feel like I'm the blame for his death." I cried. "Don't say that Lightning, you aren't the blame for his death. The clan does miss him Snowlight is saddened by his death." Mom said. "Yeah, Lightning. "He's with the anestors now watching over all of us." Dad said.
