3 Moons: Learning about the ancestors

All the cats were talking about Darkpath and how he supposedly killed a kit that ran off during the night in the dark forest. "Mom." I said. "Yes dear?" Mom asked. "Who are the ancestors?" I asked. "The ancestors are wonderful cats who pledge their souls to the current captains of each colony." Mom said. "My mother is with them watching over me and my sisters. Oh, boy I miss her." Blackstripe cried. "Are you okay Blackstripe?" Mom asked as Black, Hobble, and Silver came back from a walk with Wolffang. "Momma." Black said. "Yes, Black." Blackstripe said. "Daddy showed me the territory..." Black said as Silver tackled her sister. "You mean us." Silver said. "Yeah sis I do." Black said as she looked over to me and walked over to me. "Do you want to play?" Black asked. "Sure." I said as I stood up and we went to a empty nest to play. "Our kits are beautiful, right Blackstripe?" Mom asked Blackstripe. "Yes, they are. We are lucky to have them Leopard." Blackstripe said. "We sure are." Mom said. Black and I are talking about what I saw last night. "Hey Black." I said. "Yes, Lightning?" Black said. "Do you want to know who I saw last night?" I asked. "Sure." Black said. "I saw Darkpath in our base." I whispered to Black. "Does Snowlight know about that?" Black asked. "Yeah, she saw it all happen. Blackstripe got all mad and asked him to leave twice." I said. "I got your tail!" Black said excitedly. "Ahhhh! Black how dare you." I said. I chased Black around the nursery. I pounced on her and tackled her to the ground. I got off of Black and helped her up. "Sorry about that Black." I apologized. "I never seen my mother that angry before." Black said. We looked over at over mothers talking to each other. "I hate my father, I wished that I had a normal life, not one with training all the time." Blackstripe said. We walked over to our mothers. "That sounds really bad, and I'm sorry you had to go through that." Mom said. "Thanks Leopardtail, oh hi Black." Blackstripe said as Black laid down to her sisters and mother. And went to sleep next to our families.
