Chapter 9: I Should've Of Kissed You

As we made it back to SCT the entire city was packed to the point that the driver couldn't even maneuver through traffic. The door's finally opened Coach Gills got off of the bus as he walked up the main strip the players started to unload from off the team bus as the crowd cheered louder and louder when I made it off the bus it got even louder as I looked at the crowd I took it in and started to get hyped with the crowd. As I placed my arms around Pj and Bear we made it up the strip to greet everyone as I seen Mariah trying to speak to Cortland he bypassed her and went to his dorm room so she met up with her girls as we both noticed each other I tried to shake her hand but she embraced me with a hug as I looked into her eyes I knew that she was going through it but she told me good game then walked back to her dorm I turned around and was greeted with a hug by Akira as she kissed me we were interrupted by Pj and Teagan they told us the night is young and the AKA's are having a sorority party so let's be out i stopped him dead in his tracks and told him tonight we take a tour of my city? Yo city last time I checked baby brother this was our city so let's be out this mug! As the crowd finally died down we made it back to the south side so it was only right that we made an a stop at the Mansion for old times as we walked towards the club it felt like old times but this time we were in college. As we walked in through the line we knew the security so they let us in the vibe in the club was straight as Jada, and Akira went on the dance floor as we was immediately signaled by Big Saint to come to the round table as the bouncer opened the rope Chris went in first as he dapped up everyone in the VIP Saint noticed that I was about my business. So after all these years I see Junior is still solid as a rock on the football field I am so glad to see y'all boys decided to link up in college I know that David would be proud so I see y'all boys have BYU next week?? Yeah but we will be locked in and ready to go said Chris, Saint told us both as long as y'all in the city you know that I gotta take care of y'all because in the long run y'all will do the same thing. As Saint signaled Kendrick to hand Chris some money as they tried to give me the money I immediately turned it down. So I still see that you still won't take a handout from me said Saint. Look Saint no disrespect I'm not trying to diss but I want to get it out the mud so I don't take no one's handouts, Saint proceeds to ask me so my money is no good for you? It's your money and you worked for it I have no intentions to take your hard earned money I'm old school and I plan on doing it the old school way so if you don't mind I gotta get back to my crew y'all enjoy your night. As i got up and left Chris in VIP Adrienne and I decided to leave the club and I took her back to her dorm as I was walking back to my dorm I seen Mariah siting on the steps waiting on me so I took a seat beside her and asked her what brings you by? I'm supposed to be super happy right now I have a 4.0 GPA and I'm engaged to Cortland but the problem is that every time I close my eyes you pop up in my dreams, my thoughts, and I can't get you out of my mind. You wait to do this now, you basically told me you were engaged I had to move on so now that you have mixed emotions about everything I'm supposed to stop what I'm doing? Mariah sat back and sighed so she told me don't bother then tried to walk off Lawrence turned her around and kissed her which left her us both speechless so we both darted off in different directions. A few days have passed and Mariah has been pacing back and forth so Teagan asked her what's going on because you are leaving a big oval mark in the carpet?? As Mariah groans then plopped on the couch and let out a huge sigh of relief then told Teagan that she was in love with me, as Imani and Callie came out of the dorm room both asking Mac to "spill the tea girl"! Umm last time I checked he was with that light skinned girl with the light brown hair and black hair that hangs with Jada ok I think her is Adorable or Abigail. As Imani tells Mac it's Akira! As Mariah slaps Keisha's forehead Callie tells her it was just a kiss I'm just gonna move, I'm gonna give Cortland back his ring and focus on me and whenever Lawrence gets tired of Adrienne he can transition to some sweet peanut butter mixed with a hint of chocolate as she high fives Keisha and Teagan little did she know that Jada overheard the whole conversation..
