Lawrence makes it to the campus, and he immediately gets in line to check in while he was he was looking at his schedule it was immediately snatched away by Yogi. As Pj snatched his hat off his head, My boy we have the same classes so you know it's gonna be a breeze! Lawrence proceeds to snatch away his schedule then notices a black g-wagon pull up to the campus. As Mariah got out the car with her girls you can tell Lawrence was star struct because of her beauty she was five foot five, brown skin with long hair that came down to her shoulders, plus a body that could stop traffic. As he yelled Mac's name out at first she tried to play hard to get but when he called her name again she stopped she told him to come over to where she was standing. Bro no one man should have all that power said Pj; well Pj my boy has been a star since his sophomore year in high school besides Imani already gave him the run down on Ms Moore said Bear. As Lawrence walked over to where Mariah was standing she immediately noticed me so she told her girls to give her a second. As she brushed her hair away from her eye she immediately punched him in the arm then told me she was shocked that I was actually here on time without the media following you?? Come on now this is the big league's and from the looks of things I plan putting this school on the map Lawrence said confidently, Mmm cocky are we but you got your work cut out Boogie the quarterback spot is up for grabs and the way Cortland has been focused this spring you may be riding the bench this upcoming season. As Lawrence laughed off what she said Mariah quickly took Lawrence's schedule, Lawrence you definitely got ya work cut out so I'm gonna get set up in the study hall and later we can get something to eat and game plan this said Callie. I can always count on you Cap Lawrence said as he gazed into her eyes; As Mariah held my hand she smiled then walked off. Afterwards he hears the P.A intercom telling all football players to meet on the football field when we made it to the football field I immediately noticed Chris posted up talking to some of the cheerleaders as Lawrence was in shock he dapped him up he told me we will link up later to talk about why he turned down Ohio State to come to SCT. As the locker room doors opened Coach Gills made his way on the football field he looked around and seen all the players tightened up and ready to go to work. Coach Gillis told us all welcome to SCT this is the beginning of something special, with hard work and dedication we can be great this upcoming season now this season will be different because we have a huge freshman class with no college experience but that's not gonna stop us from getting ready! Coach Gills informed the team this upcoming summer will be physically and mentally challenging, designed to push the players past what they previously thought were their limits all football players will have a handbook with plays I suggest you study and learn fast if you don't you will be on the B team until you get it right if you don't you will get demoted to the C Team. So in the meantime get some rest because tomorrow morning will be the test so I'll see you at work. Once Coach Gillis blew his whistle, we all separated Lawrence immediately linked up with his crew outside the dorm Hey yo I see you made it back said Bear just in time Lawrence seen Yogi, and Gerald pull up right on time, He pulled into the parking lot with his food truck. As he opened the window a line started forming in front of the truck so we got on the truck as Yogi went into the pit to get an apron and pass out food while I posted up by the window until Imani, and Teagan made it over to the food truck passing out flyers to the AKA party tonight. Pj got off the truck and grabbed one of the flyers. " Teagan" how are you doing today my sweet! As Teagan rolled her eyes then told him you trying to hard as usual why don't you come correct like a real man? A real man girl I'm old school so when you see me in the streets you should know me said Pj. Boy bye!!! Teagan said loudly, As Bear laughed from the food truck he told him welcome to big leagues my boy! Pj told her I'm wearing her down every time I see her but when we link up at the party tonight I'm telling ya it's gonna be on. Not me bro I already got plans as I got off the food truck I went upstairs to get settled when I walked into the dorm room Chris was laid up on the couch getting his dreads retwisted by his girlfriend Jada. As Jada got up she slapped in the face and told me that was for Zaria..Lawrence told her he don't have time for this nonsense he quickly changed and went down to the pit. As I seen Javier posted up with Bear and Yogi I decided to make myself at home. I noticed Mariah at the table trying to study but being bothered by Cortland. So you still playing the silent treatment, I sent you flowers, cards and you still tripping about Isabella I told you girl nothing happened said Cortland; As I pulled up a chair and took a seat.. Can we help you said Cortland. Mariah asked me what took you so long? Girl you know I had to get settled in and I just found out Chris is here said Lawrence; Mariah closed her books and told me shut up! Chris is really here!!! As Cortland cleared his throat then asked us is something going on here?? Lawrence leaned back and chuckled to myself then Callie gave him the silent treatment Cortland signaled his crew over to the table as I looked around Lawrence told him this was supposed to scare me?? Cortland got up and told me I'll see you in the morning as he bumped into me I told him remember where you at?? As he stormed off Lawrence took a seat and told her that's your future? Well it's complicated Boogie.. then why are you playing games because we both know where ya heart is. Mariah rolled her eyes then told him " why wasn't I on ya arm at prom then". Ok we're still on this Mariah you're the most popular girl at South Greenville, and I was the most popular guy in the district you knew they was gonna eat that up said Lawrence. Mariah decided to drop the situation and focused on preparing for this upcoming week by the time they were finished it was getting late so Lawrence walked her back to her dorm and made it back to my dorm before curfew..
