Y/n's POV
I sat on Nathaniel's bed, my lips curled up in a small smile. His room wasn't much different from Jude's, except Nathaniel's sheets were a dark grey and not black.
"You said you were fine, but you don't seem like it." Nathaniel interrupted my thoughts, pacing in front of me.
"Just thinking," I assured following him with my eyes, my smile turning down into a frown. One of his hands on his chin and the other over his chest, propping up the other.
Nathaniel plopped down beside me setting his hands in his lap, "Whatever Jude said to you, don't take it into context. He's probably just messing with you."
I looked at him and smiled slightly, nodding. He grabbed the back of my head, pulling me into a rough kiss. I grunted at the sudden impact of his lips, hesitant to kiss him back. He seemed to notice my brief pause because he pulled away, staring at me concerningly and confused.
"Did I do something wrong?" His hands never left my hair.
"No, I just–" I shook my head denying what he asked, his hands falling back down to his sides, a frown on his face.
"Is it Jude? Did he say something?" Nathaniel interrupted his voice slightly rising. "I told you, don't take it–"
"No! I just–" I was interrupted again, sighing once I couldn't find the words to explain.
"Then what?" He scoffed standing up.
"Well, if you stopped interrupting me then maybe you would know!" I yelled standing from my spot—rolling my eyes. "I'm sorry, I just don't want to do anything right now."
It would go against the rules that were set for me. Even though I had sex with Jude before, that was after I lost my memories, but now that I have them. I feel like I shouldn't.
That was one excuse running through my head. The other?
I'd feel like I would be betraying Jude by sleeping with Nathaniel. However, my false memory self would constantly sleep around with different men. I couldn't find my true self to do the same.
"If you like Jude, then just say so." Nathaniel spat and began to walk out of the room–his footsteps heavy. "You didn't have to lead me on like that."
"I'm not trying to lead you on, but I'm also not gonna have sex with you to prove I like you," I stated in disbelief, how could he accuse me of playing favorites?
He didn't respond, however, and walked out, slamming the door behind him.
A few minutes went by before I decided to leave his room and rest in the living room considering, Jude and I's situation. I did not want to sleep in Nathaniel's bed after our disagreement.
I walked down the hall, the house silent as usual. Where was everyone? I shrugged it off and made my way to the couch, settling down, the comfort relieving some of my stress. I closed my eyes falling asleep to the sound of silence.

When I woke up, the house was still silent. I sat up, leaning my back against the couch, trying to wake myself.
Everyone was still nowhere to be seen until I saw something in my peripheral vision.
"Ren?" I called out, assumingly.
Ren walked out from the hall leaning against the wall for support with a pained look, breathing heavily–his hand clutching the material of his shirt.
"Ren, are you okay?" I asked pushing off the couch, rushing to his side to support him, and putting one of his arms over my shoulders.
