PERCY

Coral just accepted the quest. I really wish I could stop her but there wasn't anything I could do either because the prophecy clearly stated "the daughter of the sea". Ugh why couldn't it be me. I didn't want to see her hurt in any way but when she smiled and said "after all a demigod has to put their life in danger to be a true hero" that was the moment I realized she wasn't my adorable little sister who needed my protection anymore. She was growing up, learning how to take responsibilities.

I couldn't have been more proud of her. I was smiling to myself when she came in and said "Stop smiling to yourself like that you look like a fucking creep" I laughed, walked upto her and hugged her tight. She hugged me back and asked "What is this for?" I broke apart and said "This is for growing up and learning how to take risks''
"Aw come on i always knew how to take risks, you just never let me" she says and sticks out her tongue.
"Well that's because I wanted to protect you!" I defended myself.
"Well, big brother you don't have to protect me anymore I promise I'm gonna be just like you"
She smiled at me. "MY LITTLE SISTER IS ALL GROWN UP" I internally screamed.
"Okay okay get some rest you've got a dam quest tomorrow" I said and she nodded.

There was a knock on the door. "I'll go see who it is" she said and opened the door.
"Oh hey Leo!" she greeted the curly haired mischief maker in front of her.
"Hey Coral, wassup Percy" Leo said
"All good man" I replied
"Why did you come here? It's past curfew."
"I know it is but I was working on something that could help you on the quest. Here!" he held out his hand and on his palm rested a small bracelet.
"A bracelet?" Coral asked.
"Well it's not just a bracelet. When you push this button here" he pressed something on the upper side of the bracelet "and boom it will turn into an arm guard. It's quite strong as well, there is a 90% chance that if someone were to attack you with a sword this arm guard will snap the blade into two" he explained.
"90% chance?" I asked
"Yeah, coz i haven't really tried that yet but this will protect you" he said
"Dam Leo you didn't really have to do this you know" Coral said holding the bracelet.
"It's your first quest and I'm your best friend. Of course I want you to come back alive under all circumstances," he said, rubbing his neck.
"Awww aren't you sweet" Coral said and he smiled "now go back before you fall into trouble."

He waved us goodbye and ran to his cabin.
"That's a good gift for the quest you know?" I said
"Of course I do, Percy. I guess I'm gonna give it to Lils, she's always wanted an arm guard and plus she's better at both offense and defense. I'm only good at direct offense" she explains.
"Hmm yea that's a good choice"
"It's my choice after all," she replied, flipping her hair.

We both laughed as we talked about random things and went to bed.

Tomorrow was going to be a tough day for her and she needs all the rest she can get.
