Chapter 10

CORAL

I walked in and quickly ran to Ciera and Lilianah.
"You're finally back" Lilianah said
"Yeah sorry for the delay, I had to make sure that kid got out safely" I say.

The two of them had somehow managed to get the hellhound to be unconscious for a while. "Good job getting him unconscious" I said, praising them but it wasn't going to last long.
"Alright guys I've got a plan again" I told them the plan and they nodded in agreement. We looked at the hellhound as it started getting onto its feet.
"Let's finish this."

We charged at the hellhound at full speed. Currently, Lilianah had my sword and I had her bows and arrows. Ciera and I ran towards the hellhound's leg, stabbing it, Ciera used her sword whereas I used the dagger Lilianah had given me. I quickly backed away aiming the arrow right between his eyes and said a short prayer to both Artemis and Apollo and shot. It went and hit the hellhound right where I wanted it, this gave Lilianah enough time to run up a wooden plank, use the shield as support, and jump on the hellhound's back and stab it's neck while Ciera opened a small crack on the ground which led straight to the underworld. As Lilianah stabbed it's neck, it staggered and fell into the hole. Lilianah managed to jump off its back right in time.

"Okay that worked" Lilianah said falling to the ground, she too just like me was bleeding badly.
"Yeah, your ideas always seem to work, thanks for being a mastermind, Coral" Ciera said.
"Why do I sense a whole lot of sarcasm here?" I asked, referring to Ciera's statement.
"Hey! I'm serious" Ciera said, offended.
"Chill chill I'm kidding" I replied laughing.
"Well now that this is over, why don't we temporarily tend to our wounds and go to my place" I said.
"Sounds like a good plan to me," Lilianah said.

We tended to our wounds as much as we could, had some ambrosia and left as soon as we saw the cops show up.
"How far away is your place from here?" Ciera asked
"Well, it's just a 30 minute walk and obviously since none of us are in the condition to walk let's take the cab"
We took a cab and I gave the driver directions to my house, twenty minutes later we were standing in front of my house.
"Dam your house is big as fuck" Lilianah said and I laughed.
"Come on, let's go inside."
