Apartment Building (Tina's home)
The four of them walked down the sidewalk when Poppy and Tina pushed the boys to a halt behind a vehicle parked at the edge of the road.
"Right, so, before we go in. I'm not supposed to have men on the premises." Tina explained.
"Oh, well. In that case, Mr. Kowalski and I can easily seek other accommodation." Newt said, trying to walking away.
"Oh, no you don't!" Poppy forcefully said, pulling Jacob and Newt forward to cross the street.
Tina and Poppy lead them quietly up the stairs. On a landing, they stopped suddenly when they heard the old voice of Tina's landlady.
"That you, Tina?"
"Yes, Mrs. Esposito."
"Are you alone?"
Tina looked at Poppy "Poppy's with me, Mrs. Esposito."
They waited for her to speak again, but she didn't. They heard her door close and hurried off to Tina's apartment. Inside, they were greeted by Tina's younger sister Queenie.
"Teenie. You brought men home." she said "Evening, Poppy."
Poppy smiled "Hey, Queens."
Tina, who was taking her shoes off, said to Newt and Jacob "Gentlemen. This is my sister." she looked at Queenie "Wanna put something on, Queenie?"
"Oh. Sure." she said.
Poppy averted her eyes to be polite. She hated the fact that Queenie could read minds, because she knew that every time Poppy saw her she heard the same things.
God dammit! Stop being so amazing! Can you not look cute for once?
It was the thing Queenie knew that Poppy cared about. Queenie put on a navy blue silk dress and asked as she was adjusted her shoulder straps.
"So, who are they?"
"That's Mr. Scamander. He's committed a SERIOUS infraction of the Nationally Statute of Secrecy."
"He's a criminal." she asked, almost stunned Tina was going to keep hold of him in their home.
"Uh-huh. And that's Mr. Kowalski. He's a no-maj-"
"A no-maj?" she looked to her sister "Teen, what're you up to?"
Tina gestured with her head as she explained "He's sick." then, she looked at Newt "Mr. Scamander has lost something and I'm going to help him find it."
Poppy blinked her eyes, Was that something other than hatred in her eye? No, not possible. Not for little miss perfect; Tina Goldstein.
Suddenly, Jacob stumbled backward. Queenie rushed forward.
