Teardrop's POV

It was an odd feeling, to be stepping back on fresh soil after spending most of my time after the season's end in the ocean's comforting embrace. I glanced around, feeling my senses increase and stabilize to the warm and calm morning sun. The weather was perfect, and the island seemed to be a wonderful place to explore.
I began my exploration by walking into the forest. The trees were a vibrant green, matching with the grass in a harmonious manner, the blue sky adding to the scenery. I looked around again, then saw a figure. It was an odd sight, being an object I haven't seen before.

The figure was a coconut. They were brandishing a well-crafted stone tool that had a shape similar to a sharp spoon, and they seemed to stare with an almost emotionless gaze, before giving an unnerving yet pure smile. "Hello, water being!"
I gave a small wave, being unable to speak. I then pointed at the spoon, hoping they could understand my gesture. "I know, it's rather odd, I was just looking for some food.. Ooh..." The coconut inched closer, their golden yellow eyes shimmering as he grinned.

"You have such beautiful... eyes..."
He jumped at me, with the spoon aimed at my face, then everything went dark. I felt an intense burning sensation in my eyes, then an excruciating amount of agony. I tried to scream for help, but only a raspy exhale escaped my throat. Then there was no more darkness. There was...
Nothing. I could only feel myself collapse onto the soft grass below as I heard footsteps, the figure giggling.

"Such beautiful eyes you have, and now they're all mine."

I kept trying to call for help, but nothing came out of my mouth. I heard the soft yet hurried footsteps get farther away, along with maniacal giggling. I could do nothing but lie on the ground and hope someone found me.

"TEARDROP! HOLY SHIT?! YOUR EYES ARE FUCKING GONE!" I knew that voice, but I never knew they could sound so... panicked, so... scared. I wanted to see who it was, I wanted to call out their name to know it was them...
"It's me, Gelatin, relax, please relax, calm down, I'm gonna help, stay calm." I felt Gelatin's arms wrap around my liquid body and a soft wind brush against me.
