The light, blue sky, gives warm vibes in the metropolis of Kuala Lumpur. The sounds of vehicles and traffic lights, people with different purposes crossing the road, passing by, as well as malls, buildings and other shops and stalls open during the day, make this big city a busy one

In this fine day, a young woman, who walks out from the entrance of one of the famous music college in Kuala Lumpur, wearing a fine and casual looking outfit with sneakers and a white shawl, neatly styled on her head. Her soft and calm appearance would attract every men who comes in her way, as her outfit is like a tomboy, but with nude and bright colors that shines like the warm sun. 

This young woman, or by her name Ray, walks as she carries a gig bag on her back that contains her favourite guitar. as she arrives at the entrance of the college, Ray stood there, waiting for someone to come by.

what a bright looking day, like my outfit, but not as bright as my dull heart.... her inner self suddenly spoke as she looks at the warm sky, immersed in her own thoughts. Her heart suddenly aches, as she remembered that day.

the day that turn all her world upside down...

suddenly, a soft touch on her covered head make Ray come to reality again

"you're being pensive again, munchkin. What's this about then? tell us gurl" a tall and good-looking man was rubbing Ray's head, like a big brother would do to his little sister, but this time, he rubbed softly.

"yeah, Ray. you didn't even realize we're here already. This happens like, a trillion times already. Are you ok?" a soft voice continued the man's sentence, with a worried tone.

Ray shooked her head for a while, but then she knocked the man's head, hard

TOKK!!!

" Hey, what the f*** that hurts!"

"Serves you right! what did I said about having manners, you dummy? you do realized that we're not kids anymore, Nathan. so stop with your concerning! you give me the creeps, eee" Ray give him her usual death stare, as she feels a little disgusted of the nickname he gave.

In shocked, Nathan groped his aching head from her blow. He realize Ray was different from the Ray he knows many years ago, no matter how much he shows that he was concern about her, he always got the death stare. Sometimes he got a knock on his head, like right now.

" Hey, it's not my fault that you drifted in your own thoughts! Just stop making me feel dull already! and stop acting like you're my mom! Are you even ready to have a picnic with us?" he shouted back at her, as he fixed his hair gently.

Ray just stood there, without any responses for . the word 'mom' from him make her feel worst than before, she can't stop remembering it but she tries to straighten up her guts and face him with a reply " you know that I'm always fine! this is just my usual self, don't bother worrying...."

"you know what, I'm tired with the same response you give me everyday, why don't you give me an honest reason, Ray? we've been best friends since like, forever!" 

while the other person just rolled her eyes, watching them bickering around and also, Nathan's stupidity. She didn't deny the fact he gives, but the stupid thing in him is, Nathan always do something that Ray hates the most, one of it was by touching her covered head

this would cost a really never-ending love story between them, as if! she deeply thought.

" calm down you two, we're in front of Ray's college. people would see us. Let's  go to the bus stop already, or stop by the convenience store to by some snacks for our picnic this evening" that other person, or by her name Thia, try to comfort them down.

As both of them calm down by her words, they head off to their destination, with silence but a little chit-chat. Again Ray was drifted by her own personal problems, letting her besties chit-chat for a while

nobody will care for you anymore, rebellious child! your talent is all I need to be rich in a second

one weird sound pounding in her ears, making Ray's fingers started to vibrate. Thia notice the vibrate quickly and softly, she held her hand in Ray's, showing that she cares about her.

"ohh, gurls, I forgot to inform you that my pen pal will join us in our picnic today. He's a great guy, you will enjoy his company!" Nathan informs with a big smile on his face, wanting to gives them sunshine in their hearts

"Great, the more, the merrier! How about you, Ray? are you fine with it?" said Thia, still holding her hand to calm her down

" I guess so..." with an 'I don't care' tone, she reply with her calm smile

maybe this will cheer me up, eventually...

That evening, Ray was earlier at the place where she, Nathan and Thia usually hangout even when they were toddlers back then, at Titiwangsa Lake. She was sitting on a picnic mattress by the lake, waiting for Nathan and Thia to show up with their picnic bags ready, as she only brought sandwitches and keropok lekor. while waiting, she takes her favourite guitar from her gig bag, to play and sing her favourite song, while thinking of her very own future. As she frets the strings gracefully into a song, she sangs,

walau hanya sebentar saja, dapat aku melihat senyummu, cukup membuat hatiku rasa bahagia..

 A person with a picnic basket, suddenly passed by and feel drifted by her plays and soulful voice, making him to stop walking and turn to her, having the urge to ask her one thing,

" are you by any chance, Ray Hana? "

one hoarse but soft voice from the person struck into Ray's ears, making her immediately turn to that voice.

She gasped. A tall-looking and skinny man around her age, look into her eyes with a wondering face. she gazed into his eyes, making her heart flattered. Ray starting to have butterflies in her stomach and her facial expression started to change, as she was embarrassed from the fact that, he had just heard her sing.

Meanwhile the man who asked her, just gazed in Ray's eyes as well.

 Her cute round hazel eyes, looking perfect with her big glasses and her cream shawl on her head. she looks like a professional musician with that floral dress on her body.... is she the girl from my past? why does she make me feel like, my very own universe start to shine better now?

Ray stopped playing her guitar for a moment, as she discovers the man's appearance, slowly 

He looks like a gentleman even though he only wore a t-shirt and blue jeans. His face.... I recognized it somewhere but, where? who is he? why does his appearance make me feel like, I'm appreciated? my heart.... why.... is it beating fast for him?  

they were drifted by their own thoughts of each other. Each of them catches a weird feeling that they never knew, will change their entire universe, forever... 

the visitors of Titiwangsa lake and the place itself witnessed their encounter. Even both of Ray's best friends who had just arrived, witness it. They knew that this is the beginning of both Ray and the man's new journey, which is

love at first sight...
