Chapter 20

Jennifer woke up and started to stretch then realized she couldn't when she was pinned down. She smiled and snuggled closer into Sean while pulling Owen closer to her then stopped when she felt the IVs being pulled. "Someone is awake," Owen said deeply as he nuzzled into the back of her neck while being cautious of the IVs. She felt him smirk at the shiver that went down her spine. He chuckled as he moved her hair out of her face.

"How are you feeling Pookie?" Sean asked while noticing everyone was starting to wake.

"Sore but better than earlier," She said softly.

"Good, now let's see about getting you to eat and if you can keep it down," He smiled as he helped her sit up. "How does that sound?"

"Sounds good," She barely smiled, "I am hungry but I don't know what I want."

"How about we just try something like chicken and dumplings for now?" Marc asked and she nodded.

'Yes please," She said as he patted her leg and left the room.

"Oy ready to see your room Trouble?" Gabe asked yawning and she nodded. "Close your eyes while I turn the fucking light on." She closed her eyes and Owen turned off the nightstand lamp. Gabe turned on the light, then said, "Ok open your eyes Trouble."

She slowly opened then then gasped at the galaxy bedroom. "Oh Meanie!" she beamed and hugged him tightly as he kissed her forehead. "This is perfect! How did you know?" She asked as she looked at the blue and purple themed room with stars everywhere. She looked around and spotted little things that represented the men as well. There were stars throughout the room in each of their colors and she spotted their colognes lined up on her vanity. There were pictures of them on the walls and if she had to take a guess their shirts and hoodies were in her closet.

"Glad you like it Trouble," he smiled.

"Want to see what else he had us staying up doing to the house, Baby?" North asked and she nodded but then her stomach growled. He chuckled, "We can go look after you eat."

Marc came in with a bowl of chicken and dumplings and some apple juice. Owen took it from him and held a spoonful in front of her. "I can feed myself Owen," she smirked.

"Just let me," Owen said and she opened her mouth. After she managed to eat the whole bowl she smiled. "Are you starting to feel better?" he asked and she nodded.

"Can I see the house now please?" she asked and he nodded.

"Let Mr. Coleman get you in warm clothes since it is a bit chilly outside. We won't risk you getting sick so you can only go outside for a few minutes, okay?"

"Yes Sir," She smiled as she said that. She really didn't understand it but she liked how their eyes lit up when she said it. It gave her a sense of comfort almost as much as when they told her she was a good girl. She wanted that feeling all the time and she was starting to realize that it only happened with them. She really needed to ask Owen or Axel about it one of these days.

"Here is Silas' hoodie, it will keep you fucking warm Trouble and won't mess with your IVs," he said as he helped her slip her arms in it then zip it up. He put some fuzzy socks on her feet then wrapped her up in her Dragon Tales blanket. Raven picked her up and carried her outside with everyone following them. "Close your eyes Trouble," Gabe said and she did. She heard some movement then he said "Now open your eyes."

She opened her eyes and gasped at the huge gothic Victorian mansion that was surrounded by trees. There were icicle lights hanging everywhere. There were lit up reindeer in the yard and the largest tree in the yard had been decorated with ornaments made out of birdseed and nuts so the wildlife could eat them throughout the winter. "It's....home," she said softly but everyone heard her.

They went inside and she gasped at the Christmas tree in the living room and the garland with lights wrapped around the staircase railing. There was even a Christmas village all set up on top of the fireplace mantle. There were decorations everywhere but it wasn't over the top either. It was just perfect to her. She wiped away a tear and smiled.
"There's one more thing, Trouble," Gabe smiled as the team moved away from the built in bookcase.

There was the Dragon Tales school house and the figurines. There was Ord, Cassie, Zak and Wheezy, their teacher Quetzal and even the two children Max and Emmy. There was even a play set of the school in the sky and when she would open the door to the school the theme song would play. She even saw that they put Spyro with the Dragon Tales set and she giggled at it.

"Oh my goodness!" she gasped as she motioned for Raven to put her down so she could see.

"Nyet, I take you," he growled as he went closer. She gently touched everything and beamed. "Happy Kitten?" he asked.

"I'm beyond happy," she smiled, "This is what I've always dreamed of having for Christmas, it's a Christmas wonderland and even dragons together. It's beyond what I've dreamed of ever having. There's no way you did this while I was sleeping earlier, this must have taken you months," she shook her head.

"Nope, we did it all earlier," Axel said honestly. "We pretty much barely had anything here until you woke up. We were barely here as it was so we didn't have a reason to have stuff here."

"You guys," she whispered and they each took turns hugging her.
