he sound of birds chirping mixed with the crisping of leaves under their feet echoes through the dense forest. It's our pt period and every Thursday, we go hiking to the nearby forest. I already feel like a fish out of water and the pt-period just adds more value to it. They all are fit & fine while I hate exercises. I already have lost a lot of weight & now my cheekbones are even out, I don't know if someone notices it or not. Perhaps, they do notice my presence & act like I don't exist.

I put my one foot up in the air, then put it down I do this throughout jogging. The mob of students has gone distant, only their voices are echoing at a slow volume. The breeze blows not the chilly one, while leaves gust with it. I am walking slow but still, I am out of breath. I halt my steps to take five minutes break, I have been doing this past 10 mins, I take two steps as a snail then take a break then continue.

" if you will jog at this speed, even Mr.Barrett would leave you behind ". The voice comes from behind while I am crouching on a rock. I don't need to turn around to recognize his voice. I don't know if someone agrees with me or not, but I do find voice attractive instead of, eyes or jawline.

Coming insight, I see him out of breath, bending on his knees. Wondering, how can a person like him was stuck behind when he has always been the first. His shirt is clinging to his chest, showing his toned six-packs. Somehow, I find it appealing to look at. Suddenly, I feel the need to drink water, a lot of water.

Snatching the water bottle from my hand which is almost full. He gulped the whole water in one go while I watch, his adam apple.

It's hot

I mean the weather

" Come on, I will let you stare at me for a whole day but now we need to move before the sunset ". Eric says to me, catching me while I was staring. My face would have flushed in 7 different shades of red by now. I wait for him to continue his journey cause I wasn't in the mood too. My legs have given up and I have decided to turn this 5min break into 10. Before I could stop him, he clutches my wrist and starts strolling further. In horror to fall and hurt me, I keep striding with his pace.
