"Excited for your new project?" Tanong ko sa napakaganda kong asawa.

We are prepping to go to work.

"Hmmm, yep" she said while busy applying her make up.

Then i hugged her from her back.

"Pwede ka naman dito nalang if you want. Alam mo naman na ayoko na nakikita kitang nai-stress o nahihirapan." i said to her.

Actually, we talked about this a lot of times but she still insist to work and i respect her decision.

"Love, napag-usapan naman na natin to at sanay naman na ako sa stress, that is part of our life diba?. And I promise, hindi ko naman aalisin ang time ko para sa inyo. We have hybrid working arrangement, i can work from here with Ziel. You can still date me in my free time if you want" she said smiling at me.

"Isa pa yan, di na tayo magkakasama sa trabaho. Ma-miss kita love" malungkot na sabi ko dito.

I'll temporary replace the position of my Dad in AMZ since he and my mom wants to travel. Gusto na nga lang daw nila ng hayahay na buhay.

Yes, it is still temporary but in months the position will be transitioned to me full time. So ngayon ay hindi na kami magkakasama ni Trish sa floor.

"Ay sus, ang clingy naman ng asawa ko. Akala mo naman magkaibang building tayo. Dalawin mo nalang ako love sa  office ko then dapat may dala kang masarap na pagkain. Yung hindi nabibili dito ok?" Natatawang sabi nito.

"Ok maam, so what are your plans on your new project?" Tanong ko dito habang inaayos nya ang necktie ko.

Like the usual lang. And i saw the clients portfolio and they are into NFTs and cyptocurrencies. Isipin mo love? Nung high school ako way way back, all of these are just ideas. But look? Today, it is booming. Still not healthy with the environment though since it releases bad carbon footprints and im not fan of any of it. But can you see the pattern?

Kung pwede bang wag nilang sirain si Mother earth diba? We only have one world. We should protect it. Technology should be use to help many lives and not to destroy life which includes our environment." sagot nito sa akin na mukhang malungkot.

Natawa naman ako sa mukha nito habang nagkukwento. Paano ba naman nung una ay napakasaya ng aura nito at mukhang excited then suddenly her mood changes at mukha itong malungkot na ngayon.

Agad ko naman itong hinalikan ng mabilis.

"Environmentalist ka na love? Anyway, are we really having this kind of conversation? Akala ko walang work related?" Natatawa kong tanong dito.

Agad naman itong kumalas sa akin.

"Ikaw itong nagsimulang magtanong tanong tapos ako pa sasabihan mo dyan. Bahala ka nga!" Inis na sabi nito at mabilis akong iniwan sa kinatatayuan ko.

May nasabi ba akong mali? Hay babae talaga.

"O bat ang sama ng timpla ng mukha mo besh? First day natin dapat maganda lang diba?" Sabi ni Tin sa akin.

Yep ill be working again with her.

"Ewan ko ba, nakakairita kasi si Rafi. Sya magtatanong sa akin tapos parang ako pa ang mali na sinagot ko sya. Parang baliw lang" inis na kwento  ko dito.

"Relax ka lang, ipapakilala na tayo sa meeting besh. Relax. Inhale exhale" sabi ni Tin habang tinuturuan ako ng breathing exercise.

"Hi miss? Bago ka dito? Ikaw ba yung bago sa DB team? Pag need mo ng help sa database, just call me?" Sabi sa akin ng isang lalaki na mukhang nasa 24 years old.
