Is anyone there?
Will you listen to a story?
It's about you.
Just like the rain falls from the sky,
Tears fall from your endless eyes
Your hair pools around my heart
And in its waves I become aware of your misery.
Should we find an end to this misery?
Where will we find it?
Where is the answer of this unwritten question?
Is it in the petal of a flower, or in a flake of snow?
Should we look for it in the fallen leaves of autumn?
Or in the whispers of wind and water on the shore?
Are you still here?
Are you still hurting?
Would you like to walk with me?
Side by side, hand in hand
Should we just run away from the ocean of sorrow you left behind?
Should we just let the world drown in your grief?
Or shall I burn this world with my rage?
For I am furious at everyone and everything that ever caused you pain.
But I try not to be so wild.
I try not to be a volcano or tsunami or whichever disaster this world deserves.
For you love everything soft,
And I'd corrode my edges to be loved by you.
I'd let go of my tempest if that'd mean one warm look from you.
I'll become the pages of your favourite book so that you'd touch me one more time.
I'd become the clothes clinging to you in a winter night, and I'd be the warmth of a fireplace, burning myself all night, to keep you warm.
You are the moon, the sun, the stars and my entire universe.
I can look at you, admire you, worship and adore you,
I can love you,
But can you love me too?
You soothe the wounds left behind by this torture called life.
I crave you, and you are my sweetest punishment
For I can never have you.
I want you,
And if you want me too...
Would you like to wait with me?
For the sun and stars to vanish
I'd love you even then,
I'd love you even after.
I'd find you and love you even if existence never existed.
So would you listen to a story?
It's about us and our tragic love.
Hello? Is anyone there?
