Weapons of War

We're all weapons of war.
All our life, we've been fighting.
We were born in an endless battlefield.

We have to fight,
The world;
The society;
The gender norms;
The households;
Our parents;
And even ourselves.

We have to fight between,
Heart & Mind;
What we're meant to be & What we're supposed to be;
How it should be & How it is.

We've been taught to,
Yell;
Punch;
Kick;
Kill;
All by ourselves.

We don bruised knuckles, just as well as perfect nails.
From crowns to shackles.
Our body is a temple to worship the War Goddesses - Ourselves.

We're all weapons of war.
Our perfect, painted nails, pointed to draw blood.
Our perfect hair and perfect eyes to lure you in and enchant you,
So you won't even see us coming, until we're at your necks.
Our perfect smile to show our perfect teeth, that bite with the intention to kill.

We're all huntresses.
We're all Diana with her arrows.
We're all Medusa with her thousand venomous snakes.
We're all beasts,
Ready to tear you apart, limb from limb.

We were born with steel and grit,
Not just blood and bones.
We come to fight with the assurance of victory atop our minds.

We're,
An Explosion;
An Earthquake;
A Tsunami;
A Volcanic eruption;
A Hurricane;
A Black hole;
A Supernova.

We were all born to fight.

So, the next time you see a woman waging war;
Run.
Remember;
We're all weapons of war.
Born to fight,
Armed to kill.
