"Dicle!!!" Arya screams in the store and both her and Baris turn around to see the two years old running to them with a Rudolf twice her size in her arms.
"How are you even carry that without falling?" Baris asks and kneels down to catch her.
"This is mine now." She tells him with her angel smile.
"You do know we are here to shop for our house Arya not yours." He tells her but he still smiles at her.
"Yes my Baris but, but... look at it." She says and hugs the huge reindeer. Dicle had stop picking out Christmas balls and she was looking at them without talking.
"Ok. But only if Dicle agrees. He will be under our tree and you'll be visiting him any time you want." He says and looks up at Dicle the same time as Arya.
She laughs at the sight in front of her. A twenty six years old man and a two years old looking at her with either pleading or puppy eyes.
"I get that from her but from you Baris?" She says and laughs again. "Ok fine, you win. But..." She doesn't get to finish her sentence. Arya starts screaming yes and she jumps up and down.
Baris stands up at last. "How expensive is that exactly? Cause that won't survive more than two Christmases I'm telling you." Dicle says but looks fondly at Arya.
"Just pick a color already baby, cause if we stay here any longer she'll bring us a real life size Santa Claus." Baris says and runs after Arya while Dicle is stuck with the reindeer and a basket full of things wondering if yellow or white is the most suitable choice for the tree.
It's the first Saturday of December and Feris with Serkan had their six months ultra sound appointment. They were also debating if they would learn the sex of the baby now or later during their baby shower party as a last minute surpise. So Dicle and Baris were to babysit Arya for the whole day.
After the awards night Dicle got into finding the perfect furniture and decoration for their house. She was ordering online the things she was sure of while Aydin and Baris, when he had free time, were in the new house supervising the workers. In almost two months they had everything ready.
Believe it or not their biggest issue was the color of the kitchen. Dicle wanted a bright color while Baris wanted a more serene one. The whole house was ready to welcome them officially but the poor kitchen was still without cupboards. So they did what every mature couple would do in their place: they gambled it. And Dicle won. And the kitchen has the brightest shade of blues that Baris grew to love.
This is where he is now preparing coffee while Arya and Dicle are putting ornaments on the tree.
"Your hot chocolate my little lady." He says and gives Arya her toddler cup. "And your coffee my fair lady." He offers Dicle her warm mug and she kisses him.
"We thank you our noble soldier." She says and sits on the couch. "Now be the dearest and deal with the stair my love." She says and closes her eyes. Arya runs and lies next to Dicle while Baris is fighting with the white stuff that was supposed to be wrapped evenly around the staircase barrier.
