He turns around slowly. The words still echoing in his ears. He didn't mean for this to happen. All he wanted was some space from her to figure things out. Because he knew she was right but at the same time he knew that whatever he was feeling for her wasn't wrong either.

She stays still but her entire being screams at her to run and hide inside her room. Her hands are forming fists, her nails are digging inside her flesh but she stays still. And he turns around and he smiles at her.

"Jealous?" he says like he doesn't believe it.

"Well... I don't know if jealousy is the right word but... Anyway let's pretend I didn't say anything and move on please." She whispers the last part and she turns around to go inside. But he catches her before she crosses the threshold of the balcony door.

His hand is on her elbow pulling her to him but she fights him. "Baris let my hand go please. Just let it go... in general." She says and she tries to go inside but he doesn't let her.

"You can't just say that and leave Dicle." He says with a raised voice.

"Oh yeah? Watch me." She responds, frees her hand at last and walks inside her room. But he follows her.

"For real Baris? Can't you see that this can't work? That as much as I want..." his lips are on hers. Soft, delicate, like he didn't want to break her. His hands are cupping her face, his thumb is caressing her chin. He breaks the kiss and rests his forehead against hers. She still has her eyes closed but he is looking at her.

He takes a deep breath and then he says "If you think that this is easier for me it's not. The things I want to do now... the things I want to say... but I know I can't do anything."

His index is trailing her freckles on her cheek. Dicle doesn't say a word. Still lost at the sensation having him in such a close proximity.

"You are the smartest one here so I'll let you sleep on it and let me know if you can come up with something." She laughs and he smiles "Such a lovely sound." He says and his thumb is on her lower lip. His eyes darken for a moment but he shakes his head.

"Till then..." he says and he steps away, "I'll be in a safe distance. It's the best for both of us. Goodnight Nereid." And just like that he's out of her room and she runs to Google to find out what a Nereid is.

"So which one am I?" she asks first thing when she sees him next morning. She spent the whole night reading at the description of each Nereid and their abilities.

He smiles and offers her a cup of coffee "Sometimes the one that brings the waves. Sometimes the one that calms me down. That's your own unique magic Dicle Ertem." He winks at her and goes to the director so they can start shooting the first scene.

It was an uneventful day. The shooting went great and everyone was happy. They had to move sets and the next shooting would start around 8 in the evening so Dicle decided to make the phone call that was delaying on purpose.

"Hey stranger." The too familiar voice answered the phone.

"Not at you calling a stranger the godmother of your child Feris." She says and she laughs.

"The godmother of my child has been avoiding me lately which is fishy. When will we see you?" Feris asks eagerly.

"Are you home now? I have a few hours to kill before the next set." She looks at her watch "I can be here in ten minutes." Dicle says and opens the door of her rental car.
