You watched the Mundanes running up and down the roads. Their costumes seemed fascinating to you. You weren't paying any attention to what anyone was saying. You were too fascinated by what was going on down in the streets.
"Is this going to make me late for my own party?" Magnus asked. Jace sighed and rolled his eyes while Alec chuckled.
"Aren't you always late to your own parties?" Alec asked him. Magnus tutted.
"I am on time. Everyone else is early." Magnus sounded defensive. You turned, not able to see any more Mundane in the street.
"Why are they dressed so funny?" You asked. Everyone turned to look at you. Alec frowned while Jace glanced out to the street, now seeing a few stragglers coming up the street.
"Who?" Izzy asked you. When you gestured to the street she joined Jace in looking out the window.
"The Mundanes. They're all dressed up and they look so strange." You asked. Magnus frowned at you as he turned away from Alec and gave you a quizzical look.
"You don't know what Halloween is?" Magnus asked you. You shook your head and Magnus looked back at Alec. "How have none of you told (Y/N) what Halloween is? Their first time out of Idris and no one has told them yet?"
"Every day is Halloween, isn't it? For some of us." Alec replied as if it hadn't occurred to him. Magnus tutted his tongue and nodded.
"Well, until you two find some more information I've done all I can. So I will be taking Alec and (Y/N to enjoy Halloween." Magnus decided. Jace and Izzy stared at each other but before they could say anything else Magnus had vanished with you and Alec.
