We were playing some music in the background, I laid on my back and was staring at the ceiling.

"This is such a weird scenario, having an one night stand and then a hurricane comes and now you're stranded." I say with a sigh, just my luck as usual.

"You don't say, this is a strange predicament we're in." Aleksi says running his hand through his black hair. I laughed.

"Once it's over, we'll go back to our old lives. We don't even hang around in the same social circles so I doubt we would find each other." I whisper, that prospect made me kind of sad. Once again Lilith, that attachment to a guy.

"Yes shame, I'll miss your company." Aleksi says with a laugh. I smacked his chest. We got silent until No Light, No Light by Florence & The Machine came on.

"You are the hole in my head
You are the space in my bed
You are the silence in between
What I thought and what I said

You are the night-time fear
You are the morning when it's clear
When it's over your start
You're my head, you're my heart

We got quiet, Aleksi and I laid side by side. Our faces were so close, his bright blue eyes were staring into my green ones.

"No light, no light in your bright blue eyes
I never knew daylight could be so violent
A revelation in the light of day
You can choose what stays and what fades away

And I'd do anything to make you stay
No light, no light
(No light)
Tell me what you want me to say"

Aleksi comes more, his hand moves away the strand of hair that covers my face.

"A-Aleksi?" I whisper, his hand stroking my cheek.

"Through the crowded islands crying out at me
In your place there were a thousand other faces
I was disappearing in plain sight
Heaven help me I need to make it right

You want a revelation
You want to get it right
And it's a conversation
I just can't have tonight"

We were so close, he lifted my chin to look into those bright blue eyes. Damn you Florence and the Machine, for writing this song about him.
