There were no classes after combat, periods after that were meant for people from other schools to get acquainted with each other and to strengthen friendships. Spoiler alert, I didn't do anything during these periods on the first day -- Not just because I was socially inept, but also because, I was so tired after the fight against Pyrrha, I thought that taking a nap in my dorm would have been the best course of action until lunch period. Using one of my many talents I made my way towards my dorm while also evading anyone who might be bothersome to deal with like Cinder Fall or her set of friends.

Once I arrived at my dorms I skillfully made my way under the covers of my bed and turned to my side before going to sleep.

I remember exactly what happened after. I woke up at a different place, I was on my feet and looking upwards -- as if I had rested my eyes if only for a second. The dark clouds swirled around me, dropping small beads of cold water on my face at a rapid rate. It felt like the skies themselves were crying for something. I blinked and felt a warm liquid come down from my cheeks.

I felt my legs buckle as I fell, hitting my knees against the muddy ground below me while looking up. I looked down at the floor below me, where the face of a beautiful person laid. I didn't know whether it was a man or a woman -- its facial features didn't make that clear, all I knew was that it was someone whose beauty surpassed many who I have met. Long, green glossy hair splattered on the ground dirtying itself the longer it stayed, two beautiful sky-colored orbs on its face for eyes that stared lifelessly at me with a smile.

Its hands reached for my cheek and only halfway there crumbled upon its own weight, becoming clay which fell on the ground. "Do not cry -- oh arrogant king," said the person below me, its voice lifeless yet warm as it continuously smiled at me, "I am but a treasure in your vaults" he said, slowly closing his eyes as the smile on his face stayed, and with its last breath the person left its dying message, "You are sure to find more worthy replacements"

My heart ached to look at its lifeless clay body which slowly crumbled apart by its own weight. I grabbed hold of the torso which still had the neck and head on it and cried while hugging the body, "You do have worth!" I cried, "You have this worth:" my voice hitched as I tightly held the crumbling clay on my arms, "I hereby declare! In all this world! Only one shall be my friend! Thus, for not eternity, shall your worth ever change!"

I screamed out in the rain as the torso and head slowly crumbled apart, my screams echoing off the mud-filled valley I now stood on -- alone and with a heavy conscience, and on my hands, what once was the body of a person turned to clay, now I held endless amounts of silver chains with golden spear-like ends to them.

"ENKIDU!" I cried out in the empty valley, tightly holding the chains in my hands, wailing and tossing my head around as I did so. "I CURSE ALL OF THE GODS! I CURSE YOU ALL!!!"

I woke up with wet on my eyes and filled with cold sweat. Now, wide awake I saw and felt as chains coiled themselves around me -- somehow having escaped my treasury without my consent. The chains were cold and the tightness they coiled around me hurt slightly, and yet, even with this small amount of pain, and even with this cold steel touching my body I felt warmth and kindness from that cold and steel. I got up from my nap and put the chains away in my treasury before the three outside got in.

The door flung itself open and my three other teammates walked in with their grins and laughter, "Oh my, so the king does have emotions other than pride and arrogance," Dew joked. Octavia laughed from the corner of the room with her hand in front of her face.
