I then felt tears stream down my face, along with an uncontrollable heartache. I felt the air get thinner, barely entering my lungs as my vision got blurry and I continuously shacked.
"-So this is what the empty night sky feels like.."
Let's go back to where it all started.
Narrator
It was finally the big day, 23 boys gathered for an entry test, in order to get into the great P.A.S.H.S (Performing Arts Seoul High School). It was common for people from all over the world to come to this school since it was one of the Best P.A Schools in the whole world. They mainly talked in English and Korean since those were the two required languages to know/learn if they enrolled in the school.
The first unit to enter this new place is composed of 3 people. Jake, Kim Sunoo, and Youngbin, the "Shortest period of training" UNIT. Followed by the "Multicultural" UNIT, consisting of Hanbin (Vietnam), Nicholas (Taiwan), and NI-KI (Japan).
SUNOO's POV
A tall, skinny, light-haired boy with a beautiful mole on his chin, bellow his pink, full lips began to walk towards us. He looked beautiful as if he had been perfectly sculpted by a mystical creature.
Once our eyes met, I felt a small shock, tho I didn't know where it came from, nor did I understand the reason behind it. We broke eye contact and I quickly moved back and sat in my place once again, waiting for the rest of the trainees' arrival.NI-KI's POV
I looked in front of me, where a mid-height boy with a cool vibe stood, right next to 2 taller ones. Tho I mostly looked at the tall charming boy standing in the middle. I don't know why but my eyes just followed him as he introduced himself and talked to us.
He somehow felt familiar, as if I'd known him my whole life, but most of all, I felt safe with his presence, something that I'd only felt back when I was in Japan, a long time ago. I couldn't help but smile as I traveled through my memories, re-living my happiest moments.NARRATOR POV
Unfortunately, his thoughts were abruptly interrupted by the sound of the new UNITs who kept coming in.
It seemed like a never-ending Welcoming ceremony, where multiple people were presented. After their short introduction, a mysterious voice appeared:
"You will now present the stages you prepared for, and the ones who will decide whether you'll get admitted or not are none other than yourselves"
Mixed feelings between shock, anxiety, fear, determination, and excitement roamed around the room. Everyone looked somehow frozen, incapable of processing what they had just heard until a sound followed by a movement broke their thoughts. That was none other than the first volunteer, Choi Seon, who took the initiative to be the first performer.
Once finished with the performance, the mood seemed to have slightly lifted, changing according to the trainees' emotions.
Soon after, multiple people got up to be the next performers. Jay and Sunghoon ended up being the next performers. (a/n: Their performance is one of my favorites istg I rewatch it every month, anyway....). To no one's surprise, they both got in after showing a powerful and pleasing performance. The next UNIT to come up was the multicultural UNIT.
Sunoo couldn't take his eyes off them, the performance was incredible. He couldn't help but smile as he exerted his excitement, this stage made such a big impression on him, although the one who stood out the most was the orange boy at the center, well, of course, it was him, you could perfectly see that the boy was in his element.
