Black Starry Night

Tomorrow

Ni-ki
I opened the black door and saw the trainees gathered in the Horror House. For a moment I thought I would burst into tears but then I saw someone stand up among them. I smiled and ran up to hug him.

"Ta-ki!!! I missed you so much!!"

"Ni-ki what are you doing here?? How come you went to the horror house?" Ta-ki said

"Horror house? Is that some kind of Halloween test? but it's June..."

Ta-ki laughed and told the others about their conversation which resulted in an even bigger laughing sound.

"What are you laughing at?"-Jay finally said

"Oh sorry we forgot some people didn't know- EJ said letting out a discrete laugh- We decided to call this house the Horror House since it's all black and so are our clothes. It also reflects our emotions since it's not exactly a positive thing to be here."

"Yeah, and we also called Heaven to the place where you came from since it has luxuries we aren't allowed here and it is the place everyone wants to be!"- Ta-ki added

"I guess that makes sense. We simply called it 'the other place' yours is way better!"- Jake responded

In contrast with the anticipating feeling present in the room, I looked forward to the selection. I've come to terms with the fact that I was sent here for a reason so I should feel happy for the ones who deserved to be sent there.

The deep voice echoed through the room as it started announcing the chosen ones.

"Kim Taeyong"
"Echan" (a/n: Jaebom legally changed his name to Echan so I'm gonna refer to him as Echan!!)
"EJ"
"Kim Yoonwon"
As they announced the names I started to feel anxious since Ta-ki's name hasn't been called yet.
"Kim Sunoo"

I looked at Ta-ki cuz there was only one spot left, although my eyes moved in a tall young boy's direction. He was one of those who got sent here from Heaven.
He was giggling and jumping around after hearing his name. "Cute" I thought and then started laughing a bit. I hope I pass the next test to get to know him. Since he seems to be close with Ta-ki already he must be a good person.
As I got lost in my thoughts I heard the loud voice again:
"Ta-ki"

Did I hear that right?? Oh my god, he did it!!
I got up to congratulate him and then the rest of the trainees, but once I got to Sunoo he just rolled his eyes and left.
What?? Why did he do that? Did I do something wrong? No, what's wrong with HIM!? Why does he always give me that cold look...

NARRATOR
They packed their things and quickly said their goodbyes to the friends they made and got separated with.
The 6 students were warmly welcomed at Heaven and quickly started talking with the rest of the students.
The voice echoed the room again and announced the next test, which got them hyped up.

A few days later

Things weren't going as well as they expected in Heaven. After the midpoint evaluation, they got depressed with the negative feedback they got.

SUNOO
It's been 3 days since I got here but it feels like just the first day.

"I know that it's bad to say this but in a way, I wish I was at the Horror House right now."- Echan said when we were eating together

"I get what you're saying. It's as if we're strangers. I don't feel comfortable enough to have a natural talk with them. Ever since I got here, the people I grew closer with were the ones who came here with us, which is weird since it should have been the ones with whom I wasn't close. Not that it's bad that we are getting closer!" -I quickly added
