Ni-ki
We sat in the car, Ta-ki in between me and Daniel.
The excitement could be felt everywhere around the car. We just kept singing and laughing at stupid jokes we'd make on our way.
It felt like it'd only been 10 minutes since we got in, yet we were already at the entry of the school.

The gates opened and we all gasped as we saw the school for the first time in person.
It was a big and modern building, yet somehow cozy. There was a kind of soothing vibe to this part of the school.
We entered the building with our bags and made our way to the reception.

"You will be assigned a room which you are going to share, and with luck, one of you will have the room for themselves."

After they finished the introduction and shared the rules, they gave each of us a key to our rooms. Daniel and Ta-ki shared the room right next to mine.
I got to my room and opened the door and...

"YES, oh my god, YES!! I'm alone!!" I started jumping and threw my belongings in a corner-"I have a suite all for myself!!"

I then had an early shower and put on my new pajamas. They're the most comfortable thing in the world.

As the sun went down, I put on some music and danced away, smiling about the eventful day I just had.

I talked to the receptionist and took my keys. I walked through the long corridor looking for my room.
"123 that's it! Yes, I finally found it!"

I walked into the room to find Ni-ki dancing. 

"oh my-, Why are you here? This is my room." -he said, clearly surprised to see me

"No, it's mine. I have the keys here"

"That's not possible, there has to be a mistake"

"Well then why don't you get out of MY room and go find out"- I angrily said

"Sure I will"- he replied

I grinned as I knew I had won the argument. This was the best room available and it was all for me.
That is until I felt a hand grab mine

"If I'm going, then so are you." He said as he pushed me along with him.

I simply allowed myself to follow behind him as we made our way downstairs to the office.

"Hello, I'm sorry to bother you again but there seems to be a mistake with my room" -I said

"You mean MY room"

"Please, calmly explain to me what seems to be the problem?" -the person at the front desk replied

"You see, I was in my room when SOMEONE decided to enter and claim the room theirs."

"It was mine, to begin with, you were there by mistake"

"I'm sorry but I still don't understand the problem. I've checked and it's all correct."

"Well then how come we have the same keys?"- Ni-ki asked

"As I told you when you first got here, you will be sharing a room. You two are sharing the room for the whole year"- they said, with an excited smile on their face

"WE'RE WHAT???"- we both said in syntony

"Oh, you heard well. This is the information registered, which you cannot change."

"But what if-"

"No. There's nothing you can do. Now go back to your room so that I can finally go home."

We looked at each other, stupefied. Now how could this happen???

"You know I-"

I interrupted Ni-ki before he could finish

"Shh, no need to say anything, I get it. I'm gonna see if Hanbin takes me in for tonight since it's already late. We'll talk later."

There was a loud sigh, from both of us. Worried about what could happen.

...

"I still can't believe I have to share my OWN PERSONAL room on my first night."- Hanbin said

"Nah, having me here is making the first night better. I still can't believe you got this room all to yourself...lucky bastard"

"Language! You do know I'm older than you right? Have some respect"

"Oh I'm sorry old man"

I jumped from the bed and started running as I saw Hanbin's face turn red from anger.
We both got tired soon and went back to bed.

"Tell me again, why are you NOT in your room? I mean why can't you share it with him, I thought you two were starting to hit it off?"

"Hit WHAT off?? We talked once."

"But didn't you enjoy talking to him?"

"Well, it wasn't baaad but that still doesn't make up for the things he did."

"Which were what exactly?"

"He betrayed Ta-ki, his long term friend, AND not to talk about his bad attitude and looks...you know, that kind of stuff..."- I replied after thinking for some time

"Still don't see a problem. What he did to Ta-ki has nothing to do with you, AND Ta-ki forgave him. Also, last time I checked, his "attitude" was something you liked, and what even IS the "looks"? At this point, you're just making stuff up as an excuse."

Damn. The harsh reality hit me harder than ever. Hanbin just answered all of the things I was asking myself about him. I admit it was stupid of me to even start hating him but hearing what he said makes me feel even dumber.

"sigh, what's done is done. I wouldn't mind getting close with him but after everything wouldn't it just be awkward?"- I said

"It's only awkward if you make it. I think you should talk because this is all just a big misunderstanding. Talking is the solution for everything. If you two don't understand each other and the reasons why you hate each other, then it's just going to be a big mess."

"I guess you're right. I hate it when I'm watching dramas and they just NEVER talk and something with almost no importance ends a relationship. I get so mad I just scream at the TV. I swear it's so annoying!"

"See? That's why you should talk. I've known Ni-ki for a long time and he is a lovely person, who has his problems and so do you. He's young but his life isn't the easiest you know? Just give it a chance to get to know him, there's no reason for you to not like each other."

"I'll talk with him tomorrow, I'm way too tired right now and it's already late."- I said, already yawning

"Good night."

And with that, we fell asleep.
