Chapter 14 (Part 2)

Kaiden's POV:

Pain. Searing, mind numbing pain. It felt like someone had taken a hand saw and was carving into my back at a slow, painful pace. If this is what it's like for a fairy's wings to come in the the first time I would've passed. 

"Baby! Baby can you hear me?!" I could hear Sterlin calling for me, but he sounded so far away from me. I didn't my best to keep my eyes open and to think of something other than the pain, but it's like a fire had consumed my entire being. My eyelids began to grow heavy and Sterlin's voice began to sound like it was under water. Before I faded into the black and let sleep consume me I caught a glimpse of a pair of black dragonfly wings shimmering with purple colored jewels. The sunlight caught the jewels in it's rays casting an almost enchanting glow to my new wings. 'I wonder if my mother had wings like these.' was my last thought before sleep's mistress sang me to sleep. 

Sterlin's POV: 

I stood there stunned looking at my mate's new wings the sun's light from the window bathed them is a white glow, bouncing off the purple jewel like patterns. Snapping out of my trance I quickly made my way torwards Kaiden's unconscious. Just as I was reaching my hand out to touch him, his body began to glow into a white, and I was thrown clear across the room. Crashing into the wall the force of impact caused serval picture frames to come lose knocking to the floor. The glass shattered, thankfully I avoided getting cut. I stared in awe I saw my mates body begin to float at least 3 feet in the air, I watched as his fluttered up to relieve a pair of eyes I didn't  recognize. His once crystal clear blue eyes were now over taken by a errie black, causing the purple flecks to stand more out even more. Kaiden opened his mouth to speak, but the voice the came forth wasn't my Kaidens. 

"Hello mates. It's any honor to finally meet you," The voice said.

"I only have one mate. Now tell me what have you done to Kaiden!" I could feel my wolf clawing at the surface, but I couldn't allow him to get lose in case he attacks Kaiden. 

"Do not fear mate, Kaiden is perfectly fine. I am a part of Kaiden very much like your wolf is a part of you. My name is Eowyn and I am Kaiden's inner fairy." He said with a smile. 

"So what's this about? Why can't I touch my mate?!" I yelled in anger. 

"I'm sorry mate but I had to tell you before Kaiden is conscious and I'm no longer able to speak with you. There's something very important going on with Kaiden that I think you should know about, for now on he'll need as much protection even with his powers as he can get." Eowyn said with a glimpse of emotion in his eyes that went as quickly as it came. Why was he tell me all this? That's wrong with my mate? 

"What wrong with Kaiden?" I asked voicing my concern for my little mate. I could feel my chest tighten and my wolf pace back in forth. I just wanted to hold my mate close to me, but I had to hear what Kaiden's inner fairy had to tell me. 

"Now before you let that handsome head run away from you. Just know that this is very exciting news I'm about to give you mate. Though you want to sit down for what I'm about to tell you." I did as I was adviced and took a seat at the need of the bed. "Okay maybe it's better if I let you find out for yourself. Just close your eyes, take a deep breath and clear your mind of all thoughts." I did as was instructed closing my eyes and took a deep breath clearing my mind of everything, until I could only hear the sound of multiple heart beats. My own and Kaiden's and....two others? 

"I opened my eyes startled. "What was that sound? Why are there to other heart in the room?" 

"congratulations mate." Eowyn smiled looking straight at me.

"Are you saying Kaiden's..."

Pregnant...yes." Eowyn says caressing, Kaiden's flat belly that in no time at all would be swollen with my pups soon. Pups that were half wolf and Half fairy. A combination I'm not sure has ever existed in the supernatural world. Once I looked at My little mate one more time then everything went black. 

A:N Sorry so short and I'm sorry this update took so long, but I'm running out of ideas already.
