Chapter 16

Sterlin's POV:

He's pregnant. My mate is pregnant! And with my pups wouldn't you know. TWO OF THEM! Holy shit balls I'm excited, the Moon Goddess surely did give me a blessing. Currently on our way to see the pack doctor to give Kaiden an ultrasound and check on our darling pups. We walk into the room only to be greeted by not only the doctor, but Dad, Pops, Cheza, Rose and Brandon. 

"Uhm hey guys what's going on?" I ask slipping my hand into my mate's interlocking my fingers with his smaller ones. I look down at my mate, he's already looking up at me a smile gracing his flawless face, unshed tears in his blue eyes. The flecks of purple shimmering like a pool of diamonds. I pull him closer to my body wrapping my arms around his tiny waist.

"Okay, Alpha, Luna. Ready to see our future Alpha? I've got everything set. Luna all I need you to do hop up on this bed." Kaiden does as he's instructed. "Okay, Luna now if you would please lift up your shirt we'll take a look at those little rays of sunshine. Jeffery then squirts the ultrasound gel over Kaiden's flat belly moving the wand around while focusing on the machine. After a couple of minutes he looks at us with a smile. "See those?" He says pointing at to very small bean shaped things on the screen. "Those are your pups. Two to be exact." At hearing that everyone in the room scudded closer to get a better look. Soon the entire room was filled with 'Oooohh' and 'Awwww' and even 'They look like something you put in a chili.' Just in case you were wondering that last comment was from Cheza. Told you she could be odd at times, but that what I love about her. I look down at Kaiden to see him with his hand over his belly rubbing smooth circles with his thumbs. "I can't believe it..." He said "We're going to be parents babe! Can you believe it?!" he says bouncing up and down on the hospital bed, his still extended wings catch the sunlight, shimmering like precious jewels.

"So, doc, can you tell us how far along he is?" Pops asked the doctor pulling all of our attention away from the screen and to the doctor. "Well, If I'm correct the twins should only be a couple days old." Doctor Jeffery says focusing on the screen again. "Oh you know what that means right?" Brandon ask with a sly smile on his face. The rest of us looking at him waiting to hear the answer. "It means you made a hole in one on your first time! HIGH FIVE COUSIN!" Everyone started laughing as I gave my cousin a high five. Everyone except Kaiden who has his face buried in his little hands. The females in the room coo at how adorable Kaiden is acting. "Oh my Goddess that's so embarrassing!" He says pulling his face from in between his hands, revealing the deep blush in his cheeks.

"Well, Luna if you don't have any questions we're done here." Doctor Jeffery says smiling at him. "No I think we're all good, thank you." Kaiden says sitting up and pulling don his shirt. "Though I do have a question for Rose." he says. "Yes, Dear, what is it?" she ask. Placing her hands on Kaiden's. "How do I get rid of these?" Kaiden ask pointing a finger at his wings. "Oh, Dear, yes your mother taught me how will I was helping with the young fairies. Just close your eyes and imagine yourself without the wings. It's the opposite if you want your wings out." Kaiden closes his eyes and after a few seconds his wings begin to glow and moments later they vanish. "Okay, baby lets get something to eat for the 3 of you." I say picking Kaiden up while he swings his legs around my waist. Walking out of the room followed by the others heading straight to the pack kitchen.
