first year:
7th march 1971:

bleachers

"let me go!" y/n exclaimed, being pushed against the wall, her h/c hair covering a bit of her eyes, but lucius did not listen, instead he pushed her harder and eaised his wand to her throat

"lets see what we can do with you," smirking, he pushed his wand a bit deeper in the side of her neck, taking a liking to see the s/c girl restless underneath him, he spat, "filthy little mudblood,"

but before lucius could do any damage, the marauders, along with her twin sister, lily, had arrived

"leave her alone malfoy," james said, his wand raised, his authoritative voice echoing through the empty passage way. it was not a normal thing for the hogwarts corridors to be empty, y/n had figured that out, despite it being her first year, the halls were always empty on a hogsmede weekend. the only human beings in the castle were the first to second years and some other kids who wanted to get on with their O.W.L's or N.E.W.T.S

"or else what potter?" he asks, "oh look, the other mudblood is here," his eyes went to lilys, eyeing her body like a predator to prey and james instinctively stood infront of her, peotecting her from lucius' malicious gaze

"leave. her. alone." another voice came behind james, it was more aristocratic and a bit harder.

sirius.

y/n immediately recognised his voice

"black," lucius stare

"malfoy," he stared back

"expeliarmus!"

"protego!"

lucius shot the charm at sirius but he was quicker and blocked it just in time. y/n had sneaked away as the lights flashed from their wands, running over to her sister

"lily..." she whispered, geipping onto her sister for dear life

"y/n..." she whispered back and holding her jus as tight

"come on..." lily whispered, "im knackered," she smiled weakly. it was only three in the afternoon but considering the encouter she had had with lucius just minutes ago, a nap sounded wonderful.

"go on..." y/n said, "i wanna be alone for a while, at least for the walk to the common room..."

"are you sure?" james asked, peter and sirius now at his side, sirius' piercing blue eyes all over her

"yeah," she smiled and hugged lily and her friends walked in front of her

lost in thought, y/n didnt notice that sirius black had started walking with her, his steps going in tune with hers, until he touched her arm

"hey," he said gently, "we just missed the common room, if thats where you were really going..."

"oh," y/n said, she looked at her surroundings, they were near the great hall, a small way from gryffindor tower
"we dont have to go to the tower..." sirius had said.
