Alessandra Drakkon

Queen of the Drakkon Empire

"Now, I have a favor to ask?" Kalo stares at me in surprise, obviously not expecting my subject change to a more serious matter, when we had been teasing each other only moments before.

"Oh? What is it you would like to ask of me?" He was relatively cautious for a man who had already proclaimed he would give me entire world's if I asked him to.

"I would like you to send my guards an invitation to the Morgase system. Caius is with them, and I can't be sure if anyone is monitoring his sheeve, so I would like for you to invite them here, without mentioning me." His face loses all of its caution as he nods, and agrees easily to my request.

"Of course, that is no issue. I'll have an invitation sent immediately. Do you need me to contact anyone else for you?" It both surprised and pleased me that he was being so accommodating, that he understood I couldn't risk just anyone finding out that I was still alive yet.

"Yes, actually, I wasn't going to ask originally, but now that you've offered. I would like you to contact Titus by videocast, and make sure the line is secure before I speak to him or appear on the cast." I don't think he thought this was excessive at all, not after I had shown him how Drakkon had hacked into their systems via the cast stream.

"Alright, would you like to do that now? Or would you like to look around the Bastet stables more?" I glance around me with a little bit of longing, wishing I could stay longer, but at the same time knowing that I needed to figure everything out, there would be time to rest after I got my throne back and dealt with the Nisha.

"Now, would be best." He nods and offers me his arm, which I take gratefully, knowing that my heels were no match against the pebble pathways, I had a steep learning curve to conquer before I would be able to walk so easily on them as Kalo's sister, Malia did.

"I'll take you to my office, it will be private enough there I think." I allow him to lead me through the winding hallways of the Morgasian Palace, knowing he would know where he was going, whereas this being my first day here, at least my first day awake here, I would easily get lost.

"Oh, letting me into the King's office, how honored I feel." I tease him, and he shakes his head at me, even as a faint blush tints his cheeks. We finally stop in front of a set of doors, it was strange being here, on Draka all the doors were automatically opened by the A.I.'s, whereas here they still had manually opened doors, it reminded me of Earth actually.

He opens the door and lets me inside, I glance curiously around his office, but see pretty much what I expected, a rich wood carved desk, dark wood bookshelves, lattice work over the windows, and a relatively empty desk, apart from a few papers and pens, as well as a metal bar in the center of the desk, where a larger sheeve was no doubt hiding.

I had one of these myself on Draka, it was much like a computer screen, with touch screen capability, a projected keyboard, and mouse pad function, so pretty much like an Earth computer, except a lot more high tech. I watch as Kalo settles into his padded chair before turning the sheeve computer on, I can't see what he is doing, as the back has a blur function, making it impossible for me to see something from the back.

"King Kalo, what a pleasant surprise, what can I do for you?" Titus's voice sounds around the room, and I can see a blurred version of his figure through the back of the screen, his voice makes my heartbeat race slightly, reminding me how much I missed everyone, even if I had only been apart from them for a little while, almost dying will do that to someone.

"Actually, I am going to do something for you. But first, is this videocast secure?" Kalo glances at me, before looking back to the screen.

"Of course it is secure, none of the other empire's would be able to hack into our systems." Titus' voice is slightly offended, which I understand, after all the Drakkon empire was the most technologically advanced of the High Houses, though as Kalo coughs awkwardly and gets to the proper point of why he asked.
