Kiara Solveig
Former Queen of the Solveig Empire
"How could this have happened! I thought that worm of a King was protecting her! Did he not take the threat seriously! Where is he! I want to speak to him now!" Titus glanced at me uneasily, as if unsure if he should grant the request.
"We must summon a meeting, our monarch has been taken, and there is a threat against not just our empire but the others as well, summon all twelve primaries and open the high-speed casting stream to the other empires. We'll have the meeting as soon as possible." From what I understood normal casts would take hours to go from one empire to the next, but the high-speed casting stream enabled an instant connection, I wasn't sure why they didn't just use it all the time, but technology was truly not my thing, I didn't understand it well at all, that had always been Aldrich's passion, so I would leave it to him to make the meeting happen.
"Very well, Lord Aldrich. I will summon the others." It took no time at all to summon the primaries, they had been confined on this planet since Aldrich had returned, he had been extremely paranoid of them, the only ones who had been spared the mild imprisonment had been Caius and Calder and only because they were away at the border finishing things up, Calder had only returned yesterday, but Caius was still absent, it was no matter though, because his absence just gave me a place to sit.
"What is she doing here?" Lucius glared at me, and I glared back just as viciously, that male had a vendetta against my daughter, which meant he was no friend of mine.
"That is my wife you're talking to, so you better be respectful Lucius!" He blinks in shock at Aldrich, obviously surprised by his response, but then again, the old Aldrich who had been infected by the Morgasian taint would not have responded like that, much to my amusement they all seemed completely shocked by Aldrich's change in attitude.
Not that that was very surprising considering he had only overcome the emotional boundary a Morgasian had placed in him a little while ago. None of them would have known about it yet because only Aldrich, Titus, and I had known about it. "Of course, my King. My apologies, I did not realize your relationship with her." So quick to change his attitude, pity for him that he wasn't smart enough to not plan against my daughter.
"I am not the King, Lucius. My daughter is the ruler of this empire, not me. I know many of you have noticed the change in behavior I've experienced over the years, my emotions were manipulated and controlled, but I have since forth broke free from that control and am back to my true self. Which means I love my daughter and my wife, more than all of you, so do not make the mistake of trying to betray them and think I won't punish you severely for it." They all gazed at me warily, no doubt wondering if any of them had offended me in some way, but I was not so petty to hold past mistakes against them.
If they had been serious enough, I would have killed them already. The fact that they were still alive proved that they hadn't offended me, not that they needed to know that, let them fear offending me. "Why was this meeting called, Aldrich? Surely a dead girl can't be Queen?" Narcissa speaks up, looking annoyed by the meeting, I glare at her, but don't move to act against her for the disrespect she just had for my daughter, after all they didn't yet know that she was still alive.
"My daughter is very much alive, Narcissa. So, she is indeed the Queen of this empire. She has been taken by our enemies, I trust that you all remember the Gorguts? That all of you remember that they were pets with masters? Well, their masters have come and taken Alessandra, and I intend to retrieve her." They were dead silent, I think he may have short circuited their brains, not Taarique, she was humming and drinking Nyri from a glass like this was the best entertainment she had seen all week, but then she had already known about Alessandra being alive, and must have found out before the meeting from Titus that she had been taken by the Nisha.
