The lab rat...

Central City, 2481

"Eo, I told you I was done. I'm sick of being your lab rat." I complained to him. My brother. Eobard Thawne.

He slapped me. "Shut up Emma. I need to perfect this." He pushed me into the seat and struck me with the equivalent of lightning. I screamed and thrashed in my seat, trying desperately to break free. All of a sudden my hand was moving so fast I couldn't see it. I burst out of the chair and ran around his lab in circles. "I did it! I DID IT!" He yelled.

4 years later...

"Eo, you don't have to do this." I told him. "It's not too late."

He laughed maniacally. "I need to destroy the flash!" He jumped into the timestream with me hot on his tail. I followed him out, but I was too late. He was gone. And Nora Allen was a dead woman.

Central City, 2014...

I sped into the cortex of Star Labs. Gideon told me he was here. He had to be here. I was greeted by team Flash at the time. "Where is he?" I panted, out of breath from chasing Eobard. "Where's my brother?"

"What are you talking about? Who are you?" Barry, AKA the flash, asked me.

"I'm a speedster like you. I go by Quickstep. And my brother- where is he?"

"Emma-" Wells started.

"It's you, you son of a bitch." I grabbed his throat and slammed him against the wall. Barry tackled me, making my grip on Wells- or my brother release. "I'm too early." I stood up quickly. "You won't believe me. I'll be back, and you'll know it's me." I ran away and I felt Barry hot on my tail, but every time he got closer to me, I pulled away.

Central City, 2014...3 months later...

I returned to the cortex in a similar fashion to what I had done before. Joe raised his gun at me, but Barry stopped him.

"You better have one hell of an explanation for this."

"My name is Emma Thawne. The man that you're all after, the man who killed Nora Allen, is my brother Eobard. Well, not biologically. He's the descendant of your friend Eddie Thawne. I am adopted. The real Harrison Wells, who is dead FYI, he had a secret affair. My great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandmother was the result of it. In my time, I've seen all of your timelines. I see how close we all get. Some more than others." I looked over to Caitlin. My future wife and mother of our children. "I know how to take him down. And whether you want to admit it or not, you need me."

"One thing I don't understand." Cisco said. "If Thawne's your brother, why aren't you working with him?"

"How do you think he got his speed? We didn't have a particle accelerator explosion. I was a lab rat." My hand moved so quickly it was invisible. "And I suffer the consequences of it."
