One way or another...

I knew since I was here, I had to come to peace with something. "Hey, Henry." I greeted the man on the other side of the glass.

"I'm sorry, do I know you?" He asked me.

"No, but I know you. My, uh, my brother was the one who killed your wife." His eyes widened. "I'm working with your son and the rest of his team. I just needed to make peace with this. Barry's going to be here in a little while. My brother wants him to go back and save Nora so that he can get back to our time."

"Your time? You mean-"

"We're from the future. And my brother does so much worse than what he did to your wife. He is a monster." I let the tears fall from my face. "You should know that I won't let him go easily. He needs to pay for what he did for you."

"Thank you Miss..." His voice trailed off, waiting for an answer.

"Thawne. Emma Thawne. Adopted great great great great granddaughter of Eddie Thawne."

"Eddie- Iris' boyfriend?"

"Yeah." I paused. "Henry, I shouldn't be telling you this." I started. "Things are going to get better for you soon, but it's about to get a lot worse for Barry. He's going to need you. Just be ready."

"Goodbye Emma."

"Goodbye, Henry."

"Barry, we need to talk." I told the other speedster seriously. I looked around, noticing that everyone else was around us. "Alone." I finished.

"You decided not to do it?" I asked him.

"Yes, I mean, I lost my mom, but I don't have to lose this family too."

"Barry, you have to do it."

"What?" This was it. I had it to tell him about the timeline so he would believe me.

"I'm from the future. I know how this all plays out. I need to tell you so that this plays out the way history wants it to." He nodded. "You have to go back and watch your mother die again. You have to hold her in your arms as she draws her final breath. A wormhole will open up in Central City. You stop my brother from going home, but not the way you want it to. Eddie shoots himself, killing my brother. You and I run around the wormhole to stop it from spreading, but it is Firestorm who ends it. You and I need to go after Stein. Ronnie has to die." I explained.

"Why Ronnie? What about Caitlin?" He rushed out. Reluctantly, I pulled out a photo of Cait and our three kids from my back pocket, handing it to Barry.

"Two years ago, the future me came to me and dropped some future knowledge on me. Told me to stop sulking over my brother and get it together. She handed me the photo and told me if I went back I would get this. A beautiful wife and three lovely kids. She left and I studied the timeline obsessively looking for the woman in that picture. Then,"

"You found her." Barry cut me off.

"Yeah." I smiled. "That's Caitlin. We have three kids together. Lucas, Hunter, and Elle. The boys are twins. Elle's their younger sister. The boys were born in 2018 after Devoe and Elle was born in 2021 after Godspeed. I know that I'm asking you to put everyone through so much pain and suffering, but it works out for both of us. I get the girl, you get the girl. You and Iris have a daughter together-Nora. Barry, I know I'm asking for everyone to suffer. I know I'm asking for Cait, and Ronnie, and Eddie, and Stein to go through so much suffering, but this needs to be done. One way or another."
