𝑨𝒏𝒚𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝑰'𝒗𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒘𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒉𝒙𝒉 𝒔𝒐 𝑰 𝒎𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒅𝒐 𝒂 𝒉𝒙𝒉 𝒄𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒔 𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒇 𝒑𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕. 𝑩𝒖𝒕 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒂 𝒇𝒍𝒖𝒇𝒇 𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝑰𝒎𝒎𝒂 𝒉𝒊𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒂 𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒕 𝒕𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝒔𝒂𝒅𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒇𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒂𝒍𝒔𝒐 𝒂 𝒔𝒎𝒖𝒕 𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝑰 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒏'𝒕 𝒅𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒏 𝒂 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑰 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒂 𝒔𝒆𝒆 𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝑰 𝒅𝒐. 𝑩𝒖𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒚𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔, 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒇𝒖𝒏 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 (.づ◡﹏◡)づ.
"Can I open my eyes yet?"
"Noooo~ you have to wait! Patience is key, my love!"
"But it's been houurrss-"
"It's only been two minutes dummy"
Taka chuckles as he leads a blindfolded Mondo into a room who happens to be groaning like a child that was just told they weren't getting McDonald's.
"Well yah blindfold me as I walk through the door, gigglin' and all that- oh~ am I getting some special treatment~?"
Mondo gets a smug smirk on his face and chuckles when a flustered Taka manages out,
"N-no you pervert! God I do something nice and you expect something dirty!? Now I don't know if I want to give you your surpri-"
"No, no baby, please, I'm sorry."
Mondo sulks and slouches more than he already was, puffing out his bottom lip and you could practically feel him pulling puppy dog eyes. The scarlet eyed boy sighs and giggles as he places is hand on his lovers face and assures him he is still getting his surprise.
"Whats takin' so long anyways? I never knew surprises took such a long ass time."
Mondo groans and the hall monitor that has gotten used to Mondos cussing habits, sighs and pulls Mondos hands into his.
"Are you ready to see your surprise?"
Mondo immediately straightened up and squeezes the smaller boys hands in his. A smile beaming on his face.
"Damn right I am!"
Takas hands slowly go up to the bow that he tied the piece of fabric in, in order to hold it in place and he pulled the ends and let the ribbon fall down.
Mondo gasp a sharp, short gasp. His eyes widening. His hands clenched and he looked in disbelief and awe. Taka was to the side, fiddling with his hands nervously as he looked unsure between the gift and his partner. What was in the room with them was a pretty spacious tank with all the necessities a sea creature would need in, and there were a few other decorations in the tank as well. In the middle of the tank, sharing a rock, were two axolotls. One was a soft, nude pink, with more toned and color-filled, pink gills. The other was a vibrant, deep black, with gills just a starched and burnt as the rest of its body, it also has some slight grey undertones to go along with its dark body.
With a small yelp, the shorter boy was engulfed in a bear hug. Seconds later he wraps is arms around the upper section of the big man. Mondo pulls back after a couple of seconds with a grin so big it looked like it hurt. He looks at the tank and back at his boyfriend with sparkles in his eyes.
"How the hell did you get them!?"
"Gundham Tanaka of course, he's literally the god of animals"
They both chuckle and Mondo and walks over, putting both of his hands on the tank and squishing his face against the glass like an excited little kid at an aquarium. Taking in the beauty of these creatures in front of him.
Takas smile drops as he gets a sorrowful look on his face.
Y'know...after you're dog died...I saw how sad you were, and I knew you liked axolotls...I hated seeing you sad so I thought that...I could add these little fellas to the family.
Taka walks over beside Mondo with a small smile but sad eyes. The lavender eyed mans face dropped a bit, his forehead the only thing touching the tank as his palms drift away from the glass, leaving gentle fingertips as the only part of his hands gracing the tank. Tank looks down to Mondo uncomfortably and a bit nervous.
"Do...you not like them? I can always take them back and get you other-"
"No"
Mondo raises to his feet in merely seconds, shooting Taka a sharp glare that made the raven haired man flinch and take a step back, his eyes widening a bit as he took a sharp breath. Mondo sighed and looked apologetically at Taka, his hands grabbing at the bottom of his shirt.
"No...sorry 'bout that...but no...don't take them back. Please."
Mondo looks at the tank then back at his boyfriend. His hands gripping at the bottom of his shirt.
"I love them already...with every bit of my being. Well of course not as much as you."
Taka cracked a grin and chuckled, stepping toward his lover as he relaxed, Mondo smile returned to his face as he pulled Taka into a hug. The other man returning it right back.
"Thank you Taka...I love you...this has made my day so much and I have no clue what I would do without you."
Ishimaru buried his face in the bikers chest, inhaling his sent and melting in his arms, his smile growing.
"You're welcome...and I don't know what I would do without you either my love."
Taka looks up at Mondo and brings his hand up and cups the other mans cheek, Mondo leans into his touch and closes his eyes for a few seconds before opening them again and giving Taka a smirk.
"So...do I still get that special treatment~?"
Mondo goofily wiggles his eyebrows and Taka rolls his eyes, chuckling before looking back at Mondo.
"Only if you're ready for it~"
Mondos eyes widen, surprised, before getting a mischievous glint and within seconds the smaller man is over Mondos shoulder and being taken out of the room, giggling but also dreading because tomorrow walking would be a challenge.

In the tank the two Axolotls turn to each other
"So uh...these are our parents?"
"...yep-"
"...lets hope this doesn't happen all the time"
With that they swam into a little rock cave to relax as peacefully as they could while their dads were...let's not think of that.
