Two guardian angels dragged in a man by his arms in front the Council of Angels. The man's short blonde hair was matted and dirty as was his upper body. He was only clothed in a pair of black pants with no shirt or shoes and socks, revealing the bruising and lacerations over his upper torso, chest and back.
The Council of Angels, made up of four elderly men, looked down upon him in disgust as he stared at the ground, refusing to look at their faces. They all were either bald or had little gray hair, dressed in gray robes, looking at the prisoner with an unloving and unforgiving look. A man of once great honor now kneeled before them, beaten and battered, facing the consequences of his crimes against the Kingdom.
The man murdered a human woman in cold blood, leaving a trail of evidence leading to his discovery. He claimed he had nothing to do with the murder of the human woman, even his newly wedded wife claimed his innocence as well; however the evidence pointed toward the young man. He was arrested and brought to the Council of Angels where he was judged quickly and given his verdict within an hour of his arrival. He stayed under house arrest with his wife until the final two days, there he was dragged out of his house to the Council of Angels again; where he was tortured for many hours for more answers as to why he murdered the young woman. Once it was over, he was thrown into the prison until the day he would be sentenced. For two whole days, the man sat in complete darkness to contemplate his actions against the Kingdom.
One of the angels cleared his throat, signaling for attention. The angel seemed like he was the oldest of all four angels and more superior. He was completely bald with winkles on his face. His face was also filled with so much hatred as he stared at the young man, his dull green eyes giving a look that could kill. He lifted up a piece of paper and began to speak.
"Let us begin shall we?" He spoke with a dull voice. The angel fixed his glasses on his face to read the paper in front of him. "Prisoner! I am to deliver your sentence for your crimes that you have committed against the Kingdom; you shall be banished to the Earth to walk among the humans as a human yourself. Your Grace will be taken from you due to your actions against Heaven, the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ, and foremost God, meaning you will have no angelic power nor memory of the Kingdom while you walk the Earth. From hence forth, you shall be called the Fallen One to be recognized for your crimes against Heaven. Your memories and angelic powers will be stored here until your punishment on earth as been served."
The man stayed quiet and head bowed as the angel finished. The angel shook his head and stood up. As he stood, the other council members stood with him as well. He glared at the young man below him, the look of irritation crept on his face due to the young man's lack of respect for the head angel's position. The man may have been a high ranking angel, but now he was a worthless criminal who should have some respect for his elder angels. The head angel continued to glare at him as he asked his final question.
"Do you have anything else to say before you leave the Council Room, Fallen One?" the angel asked sinisterly. The man remained silent, angering the angel even more.
"Lift your head and look at me you worthless child!" the angel screamed at the man. "You may have been a high ranking Warrior, but this is my Council Room! I am the judge in here and you will respect me by looking at me when I am talking to you! Now look at me and answer my question before I change your sentence to Hell!"
As the angel finished, the man slowly lifted his head, revealing his battered, dirty, young looking face; his bright blue eyes pierced through the very core of the angel, sending chills though all them. The man cocked his head to the side and stared straight at the angels, a strange smile crept across face of the man, revealing the dried blood on his teeth from his busted lip.
"I.... Am....Innocent." The man replied.
The head angel gasped in shock at the man's final words. His face began to turn red as he became angry at the young man, he walked down toward the man and backhanded him. The man fell to the side from the force of the strike, splitting his lip again. He only laughed as he spit the blood from his mouth at the head angel's gray robe, this angered the angel even more. He kicked the man in the side and the man collapsed to the ground with a yelp.
"You foolish child, you will suffer for that!" the angel screamed. "Get him out of my Council room! Take him away! I do not want to see his face again!"
Once the words left his mouth, the guardian angels grabbed the man by his arms and dragged him off to a fate that was not suppose to be his. They dragged him over to a hole in the floor, a perfect circle in the floor two feet away from another hole that produced screaming and cries for help, a place that was full of torment and endless flames. These two holes were the entrances to the human world and Hell. He resisted as they dragged him closer, then roughly tossed him in the hole that lead to the human world.
Once he began his free fall, he felt no pain or made any noises. He just relaxed as he began to fall faster, thinking of his wife; that she would now be alone as he walked the grounds of the earth with missing memories of her beautiful face and soul. She was the only person worth risking his life to protect and that what he was meant to do, protect and sacrifice his life for her. The last fond memories of his life slowly started fading into the oblivion and he started to forget who he was and what was happening.
The last thing the young man remembered when he fell from the sky was a painful scream that he heard in the distance, like as though someone else had fallen with him
