As the sky fell to night time, the town started to grow quiet after and dark with the exception of a few street lamps that lit the roads, however many people walked up and down the streets, searching for a missing boy. The news had spread fast about the all star football player Canaan Hathaway' disappearance and the town became frantic of the missing boy; parents keeping their children inside of their homes to keep them safe, police officers searching the near by woods and towns, Canaan's parents impatiently waiting by the phone for the call that their boy has been found. The safe and security of the town's people had been shattered and there was no way to repair it.
The alley way where Mariah had destroyed Christopher suddenly fell into darkness. A blonde girl about the age of ten walked up to the ashes of the fallen demon. She was dressed in bright yellow dress with sandals; her red eyes were dark as her pendant glowed red to. She looked down at the ashes with a look of disgust.
"Oh Christopher, how could you not handle one simple human?" She said softly. "You were suppose to prove yourself worthy of the position my master has given you. Such a disappointment."
She kneeled in front of the pile of ashes and placed her hand just above them. She began to chant loudly in a strange language, her eyes beginning to glow a bright red. The ashes began to glow themselves as they formed under her hand, slowly forming the body of the once deceased demon.
Once the demon's body regained its proper form, he jerked awake with a sharp intake of breathe. He began to heavily pant as he looked at the little girl, who still continued to stare at him with a cold look.
"Cassandra." He sneered.
"Christopher." She said coldly. "Tell me, how did you manage to get yourself in this pitiful situation?"
"Excuse me?" Christopher asked. "I have what I came for, just had a complication that you now fixed."
"Do you realize how critical the situation is at the moment?" Cassandra asked coldly.
"Yes Cassandra, I remember how critical this situation is." Christopher said as he rolled his eyes.
"Did you at least get what you came for? Cassandra asked impatiently.
Christopher smiled evilly. "Yes I did." He stated as he pulled out the vial of blood from his pocket.
Cassandra nodded as she smiled deviantly. "Let us go and awaken our master shall we?" She said as she turned around to walk back down the alley, Christopher slowly following behind her
Cassandra knew where their master was hidden and it was not that hard to find. She continued to walk down the sidewalk with Christopher until they reached the edge of the town.
In the distance, a beautiful white house stood. It was a two floor house with a wrap around porch. The house was brightly lit, signaling that most of the family was still awake in the house. Cassandra stood there and listened as she search for the sound that signaled where her master was.
The sound was faint, but clear as it the wind brought the sound to her. The sound of a faint voice that whispered in her ear.
"My child, you have come for me." The voice whispered
Her deviant smile curled up upon her lips at the distant voice, meaning her master was in the house.
"I have located our master." Cassandra stated to Christopher as she pointed her tiny finger toward the house in the distance. Christopher nodded as he looked toward the house.
"Then let us not waste time." Christopher suggested as he began to walk toward the house.
"Wait you idiot!" Cassandra snapped at Christopher. "We cannot walk into the front door while the family is still awake. We must abide our time until they are asleep. Once the family has fallen asleep, we can wake up our master."
Christopher shook his head and walked back toward Cassandra to wait until it was time. Soon, they will have their master back and a new war would begin.

Canaan's younger brother Matthew laid sleeping in his bed, twisting and turning caused by unseen nightmares that plagued his head when sleeping. Sweat poured off his half naked body as his twisting and turning became for frequent; he began to mumble words that were faint and unrecognizable.
Suddenly, Christopher and Cassandra appeared in the room of the teenage boy. Christopher looked toward the door and extended his arms outward, his palms open. He mumbled a few Latin words under his breathe as green light appeared from his hands; it began to spread over the door slowly as it covered every opening. Once the door was fully covered, the light disappeared from Christopher's hands. He turned back toward Cassandra who waited patiently for him.
"No one will be able to hear anything that comes out of this room." He said. "So we will not be disturbed."
"Good." Cassandra said as she turned back to the boy that laid on the bed.
"Are you sure this is him Cassandra?" Christopher asked sourly, staring at the boy in disgust.
"Yes." Cassandra sneered. "Why do you doubt me?"
"He looks nothing like our master." Christopher stated. "This is just a kid."
"Maybe you should start looking more closely then just on first glances Christopher." Cassandra snapped. "I know my master more then any other demon. This is him."
Christopher rolled his eyes as he reached into his pocket and pulled out the vial of blood, handing it to Cassandra.
"You better be right." Christopher snarled. "Because next time, it will be you going after the boy."
"At least I would stand a better chance of getting the mission done then getting myself killed." Cassandra growled. "Now let us awake our master."
"Go on then." Christopher said hasty.
Cassandra nodded her head and preceded toward Matthew with the vial of blood. She opened the vial and gently placed it to Matthew's parted lips, letting the blood slowly pour into his mouth. As soon as the vital emptied, Cassandra quickly stepped back, awaiting for reactions that she knew would be dangerous.
Suddenly Matthew screamed in his sleep, violently turning in his bed to the point he falls off the bed. His sleep was being invaded with memories of the past, memories that made him who he was. The memory of his deal with the council of angels that would rid them of Canaan; killing the young, human woman and leaving Canaan's DNA all over the crime scene; but the worse of all was the memory of him falling with Canaan. The Council of Angels went back on their deal and Matthew fell with Canaan, ensuring that all witnesses and evidence of their treachery was covered up. He remembered the pain as a soul formed into him and he became the weak human he was now. A sense of hatred for Canaan began to form within his heart, the thoughts of Canaan made him sick and angry.
As the memories flooded Matthew's mind, Cassandra smiled manically. She kneeled in front of his struggling body and placed a hand on his forehead.
"It is time for you to awaken my master." She said coldly. "We need your guidance, we have been lost without you."
Matthew's body quickly sat up with his eyes shut as his body began to glow with a bright orange light, consuming him within the light.
Once the light faded, Matthew's appearance had changed. His body gained more muscle and became very pale, showing every blue vein through his arms, chest and neck. His hair became darker in color, almost black.
He finally opened his eyes slowly as they slowly shifted from bright green to a dull red color. He turned to Cassandra as he blinked at her in confusion. However, it did not take long till he smiled darkly at her.
She bowed her head at him. "Welcome back my master." She stated. "You have been gone for far to long."
Matthew laughed darkly. "You are right my child." He said as he stood up. "It has been far to long."
"We must not delay then." Christopher said softly from behind Cassandra. Matthew slowly looked at him and hissed at him. He quickly charged him and threw up him against the wall by his throat, cutting off his air circulation. Christopher grabbed ahold on Matthew's arm, trying to push away from him, but his attempts were useless.
"What are you doing here traitor!" Matthew screamed.
"Master, Christopher here has decided to make his home with us. He is loyal to us and our fellow demons." Cassandra said coldly.
Matthew shook his head. "I do not trust him." He stated as he squeezed his hand hard against Christopher's throat. Christopher's face began to flush as the air could not reach to his lungs, his eyes slowly roll back and began to close.
"Father please, I beg you." Cassandra cried. "Do not hurt him, he is our only chance of finding Canaan and Mariah."
Matthew looked back at her as he let go of Christopher, letting him crumble to the floor like a rag doll. Christopher gasped for air as his lungs filled again, relaxing his breathing as Matthew stared him down.
"I will give you one chance to prove yourself loyal to me." Matthew sneered. "You will tell me how to find Canaan and his whore, Mariah, and destroy them once and for all. "
Christopher smiled evilly back at him. "I know Mariah better then even Canaan himself." He stated. "I can destroy her and destroy him in the process."
"And what will that be?" Matthew asked.
Christopher stood back up and looked Matthew straight in the eye. "Take away her Grace." He stated. "Every angel has what we call a Grace, it is held in our pendants. Just like how you call your powers the Darkness. If you take away the pendant and destroy it, Mariah will lose her powers. Once she has no powers, she cannot protect Canaan."
Matthew nodded. "Thank you for your cooperation." He said coldly. "Now I have a job for you that requires many things. Will you be willing to accept my offer?"
Looking up at Matthew, Christopher stood up slowly. He stared straight into the eyes of Matthew, searching for any deception that would hurt him. However, he saw nothing in Matthew's eyes; there was only emptiness and no emotion. He knew he had to get into the good graces of Matthew and the only way was to do his bidding.
"I accept, my master." He said as he bowed his head to Matthew, accepting submission to his authority. "What will you have me do?"
Matthew smiled evilly as he placed a hand on Christopher's shoulder. "I need you to help me bring back an old friend."
